Both have the same feel to them. Not to mention the main characters are similar.

Its pretty much the same concept. A boy who harbors something inside their body which is the source of all evil. Meets a girl and they begin to travel with each other in search for the demon stone (O-parts) so they can help themselves or others. On their journey they meet friends and fight with enemy's and try to save the world.

both focus on thievery type plots and are fairly short as well that can be done in a day or so.

The two main characters are connected by a certain magic allowing the girl to enhance/release the true nature of the guy. - Both Lu and John share a similar relationship to Lavie and Keel. - Each are in search for something not easily found, also being the reason they are brought to each other starting their journey together.

Great short-lived fantasy adventure series with spunky characters and a fun, upbeat plot.

The series are very similar, from the plot to the character types to the world the story takes place in. You almost expect the characters from one series to run into the characters from the other!

Both mangas are the work of Akimine Kamijyo. This being the successor to the famous Samurai Deeper Kyo manga. Both feature the same fantastic art style and the comedy moments (although, silvery crow seems to have a lot of those at the moment) as well as some well developed characters.
