Looking for quality BL but don't want to wade through a mountain of mediocre crap to find it? Then this is the list for you! A combination of 1st place award winners, #1 bestsellers and other BL manga that received top accolades between the years 2015-2019. Some manga pre-date this time frame but are included if they won an award or topped a list during one of these years. The cream of the yaoi crop!

Boys Love/Yaoi/Shounen Ai that will make your head burst with just how weird, disturbing, or messed up they are. If psychological is your go-to or you liked "Killing Stalking" and "Caste Heaven" or any of Harada's works, then you might like this stack. The BL manga in here doesn't necessarily need to have any romance between the leads, so please take note of that.

These are not the only ones that are part of the spectrum. There are also a lot of BL out there that are currently not on MAL. That's why it's not included, just like "Stockholm Syndrome," "Similar Terms," and "Fruit of the Tongue."

P.S. I ended up removing "Chikuhei no Hanayome" or "Orc Bride" because MAL labeled it as hentai and that will result for this stack being viewed only on the hentai page it is linked to.

Manga that features twisted characters with toxic behaviors. Some are serious psychological stories that dives deep into toxic behaviors in a way that isn’t glamorized, while others are edgy trash that are just fun to read if you’re in that mood. I’ll tag them as “serious” or “edgy” in the descriptions of each manga.
