This manga was interesting at first, though it became very cluttered with story elements and different settings.

At first it gave a Gantz feel with an exciting and engaging hook with a mysterious labyrinth connected to the disappearance of a childhood friend. The main character seemed like an anti-social person who had no friends at first, though I'm not sure what else to say about this manga.

It's a short Manga with only 14 chapters as you can see, which means it won't really be a waste of time, though as the story progresses you'll notice that although the protagonist's goal stays the same, the characters ... introduced become very cluttered and do not have enough time to be processed or expanded on in the story's short span.

The setting changes multiple times as random miscellaneous info about the labyrinth and creatures come to light, though this information doesn't exactly affect the characters in the story to an extent, it just gives the reader a sense of pointless context that makes the mysterious aspect become less mysterious and a little more basic/passive.

The art for the monsters were nice and if you read Gantz you might feel the similar atmosphere in this manga, though if you read this manga and are left wanting something better I'd suggest reading Gantz.

Nemuri no Fuchi was okay. The beginning plot had potential, but the writer most likely lacked the skills to properly develop and write the story well. After chapter 7 it began to get confusing. Characters were introduced too quickly with little development, the storyline twisted many times, and too many tiny details were added that really gave nothing to the MAIN story. The main character feels very plain and lacks the depth I would like to see when reading something. It's not boring enough to not recommend, but it's also not that interesting.

The whole plot consists of this mysterious maze "universe" that shows itself in random places on earth. It follows our MC Shuuhei who lost his friend to the maze years earlier. He blames himself for his friends disappearance, and so he goes on a mission to find her within the maze. Sounds promising! After he "finds" her the first time, the story gets confusing.

We learn that this maze needs to “connect itself” to a universe to survive, and Shuuhei’s friend is the chain. Also that time travel is possible. And that a private organization wants to benefit off the maze. And there’s a mad scientist living inside the maze. All in that order! They're also never developed upon, so don't expect to hear about any of them more than once.

Through Shuuchi’s time travel to prevent his friends disappearance, he alters the future which in turn makes everything that much harder to follow and understand. It ends with Shuuchi finding her (who could've guessed), and it turns out the whole story was just her bad dream! Pretty boring ending for a storyline that had a decent amount of potential.

Overall, the art is cool looking sometimes, but it’s for when you’re bored and have nothing better to read.

Nemuri no Fuchi, how do I even begin to describe this? The story is about these labyrinths that started appearing. These labyrinths are the reason for an increased cases of missing persons. Shuuhei Sazaka-san, our protagonist who's life was ruined due to a disappearance of his childhood friend, Kaori discovers the existence of these labyrinths. Like the edgy protagonist he is, he went there despite warnings of being extremely dangerous.

Fortunately, and despite how "extremely dangerous" this place is, he managed to escape. (Did you not expect that!?) Then there's the MIC whom are a highly suspicious organization claiming to be handling these labyrinth ... cases. Shuuhei gets accompanied by his bestfriend, Genji on the labyrinth after feeling guilty of abandoning Shuuhei once before for playing with a girl.

The story starts to get even more confusing with this mad scientist and his clones. Then there's the time travel introduced. You get it, this story is a clusterfuck of confusion. The concept - it's not that bad, kinda reminds me of the backrooms. But the writer seems to be inexperienced on how to write properly. I'd say nice try for trying to mix supernatural and sci-fi, although didn't turn out good.
