I don't know if others agree with my opinion but I give this manga a totally 10. Why? Well, because there isn't one thing that I didn't like about it. Everything was just like I wanted and I'm not dissappointed by none of the manga's parts and details.

STORY
At first what appealed me was the story. I love historical/romance/fantasy mangas and this is exactly the manga I've been looking for. For me witches were a new element because I never read mangas about witches or something related to them but even so it really amazed me. The story was great, the scenes weren't just one after ... another and I never hated or feel annoyed by any of the characters (this is something that never happened before because every manga I've read so far had at least one character which I couldn't stand). ,,A witch in a world without witches'' was the part of the manga that attracted me the most. Skyla was the only witch in a world were witches disappeared and not exactly a powerful one because she didn't have them at the beggining. She starts her journey when she was picked up by an old woman and an alchemist. As the story progresses we find out that the alchemist, Kaylus, wasn't exactly what it seemed at the beggining.

ART
I don't have words to describe how much I loved the art. It's exactly my type of art. There are not many mangas with this kind of art so when I found one I read it several times and I never get bored of it. Every detail of it fascinated me. There were times when I just stopped reading and focused my eyes on the art and WOOW!!! It was astonishing! Others may think that I may exaggerate but this is solely my opinion

CHARACTERS
I don't have a bad thing to say about the characters. They were all on my taste. I even loved the bad characters, so I can't say how much amazed I was by the rest of them. Skyla was my exactly type of character: strong, beautiful, a little naive but she matured during the series, funny and also a little foolish at the beggining (just my opinion). Even so I liked how she doesn't depend on others and she isn't easily manipulated. She didn't listen when others told her what to do and she made her own path. I was tired and sick of those annoying and weak female leads who do everything the other people say. And Kaylus - OMG!!! - I loved that misterious aura of him, it only made him more attractive in my eyes and the way he was sometimes so mean at the beggining with Skyla was great. After I finished the series Kaylus past it remained a little unclear for me but even so I wouldn't change anything. In other words I can't say how fascinated I was by those two, so fascinated that I think I will never forget them.

ENJOYMENT
I totally enjoyed every little part of the manga, even the slightest details.It was one of the best mangas I ever read. I find out about this manga a long time ago but I never tried it until now. I knew from the first chapter that I will enjoy it completely and that's exactly how it was. I strongly recommend it to anyone who likes fantasy/romance/historical/adventure mangas, you will definetely enjoy this...

There aren't too many reviews on this one, so I decided to give it a try.

The very first thing that's caught my attention when I first spotted the manga, was the art. The cover didn't blow me away, but when I gave the manga a chance I was pleasantly surprised.

There is SO much detail in the characters, the outfits, the scenery it was just so beautifully done...enough to shed a tear for it.

I found the story fascinating. The first of it's kind that I have read. My biggest issue is the last volume. It felt very hurried. I know this is shoujo but a little more action at the climax would have been nice too.

I loved the art. They used a lot of detail especially when introducing something for the first time like a new outfit or creature. I love seeing well ...

Absolute witch is a medieval fantasy romance revengeish story or something like that. Its a fantasy world where the witches have removed themself from the world for over 700 years. the FMC is the first witch born and hides this secret. The issue is that she is actually is really weak and barely any magic power (Like anyone believes that).
The MMC is Karluys and is the basically the tsundere love interest. Now the story isn't simple. because i don't really know what it is. There is so much going on amongst the antagonist. There are some key stuff, some titans, gods and some eye seeing ...

Really great work, I enjoyed it from start to end. It was thrilling with good twísts. But it wasn´t too cruel like some manhwas are. The main cháracter (Skyla) was kind and strong (and pretty). I think I don´t even have to mention male lead (nosebleed on every second page). Art was awesome. I´ve got sort of...nice feeling after reading it, it was... positive? (I quess). And what I really like is ending, it wasn´t too sudden (because when some authors tends to rush at the end and it can completely ruin the final effect), ending was happy, so I can sleep peacefully. Skyla, who is abandoned as a baby is found and raised by 4 men (ex-pirates) , 1 plays her father while the other 3 are her uncles (now with this, you would expect her to at least be a tom boy, know how to fight, sword play, not naive/ easy to blush something along those lines, especially since she is a witch, instead she is a weak female who has her rare moments of being strong) Marrying the first man ( Jewel ) she takes a liking to to save a big boat then supposing wants to get it annulled.... but from then she ... acts like she really loves him, not just a convenient husband, so that throws the story off, like someone decided to make her one really cool moment into being a wimpy female crying over a love that was only suppose to be for business, she doesn’t know him at all, that’s why I can see the point of it being a business marriage but the next chapter she is saying “no I only have eyes for jewel” “jewel this” and “jewel that” even breaks down and cry’s when she cant find him. Over looking her first FAKE love and onto the next. An alchemist named Kaylus, in the beginning he treats her like crap and calls female “luggage” and “to know your place” but once he finds out she is a witch and matures to a beautiful woman he warms up to her (somewhat) and she follows along like a lost puppy. So his character is kinda bad, but then you wouldn't expect anyone to like him after getting to know his rotten attitude, but she does and all the while she cry’s how she is a witch but has no powers, and when she matures into her powers, she cry’s cause she doesn’t know how to use them, even when she is living with Kaylus, who has a library full of books on witches, does she read, or try to practice? No she sits on her bum and cry’s and blames others. One of the few reasons I gave it a chance and read half way was because the lead female did have her strong moments ( 5% strong moments, 35% childish moments,10% smart moments, 50% naive/idiotic moments) even the dialog which started out funny became predictable and sometimes painful to read. so that reason was diminished, along with the art, I really liked the detail in each page, it was lovely to look at, but whats with the dresses?!? they are either plain or bushy making her look like a upside down flower. It made her very unappealing when ever they tried to make her beautiful, even adding the flowers behind her in a scene didn’t help. The only way I would recommend this is, If you have time to wast and don't mind getting your hopes up because the chapters are so short! Each one was like 15 pages then you have to go to a whole new chapter and they do that to grab you, the story starts going down hill, then hits a little bump and your like “ohh now its getting good” then its the end of the chapter.

What is most enchanting about Absolute Witch is its intertwining of history, folklore, magic, and witchcraft. A young girl almost alone in the world with powers that she can't control tugs on the magical girl genre that many people adore, yet the story also deals with the deep and dark pasts of those wronged by fate and cursed by spells and unlucky ancestry. Right from the beginning the reader knows that this is not an ordinary story about the heroine becoming a full grown witch and saving the world, but also about the journey of finding herself and her identity despite coming from nothing.

The beginning ... of the manhwa is more or less an apt explanation of how Skyla came to be in her current situation, but the way it was spaced between random time skips was a little confusing for me. The story honestly did not pique my interest until about the middle of it, from where drama in the land around her began to unfold. But even then, when new characters were introduced with equally mysterious backgrounds, I was a little frustrated with how long it took for their pasts to be explained and sometimes I wasn't sure if I understood correctly.

For a lot of manhwa, the most prominent feature is the gorgeous artwork. At first I was a little perplexed at how long the women's hair was, but they were still gorgeous to look at given all the detail the artist put into it. There is also a lot of effort put into striking gazes, formidable poses, and intricately designed clothing. For the time period, the author must have studied a lot about this point in history in order to illustrate these outfits so closely.

I was also quite taken aback by the backgrounds and scenery. Old churches and towers were very detailed; farmlands were sketched carefully; everything was just marvelous.

A minor complaint (purely by preference) would be the way the men looked. Sure, they were beautiful, but their long hair and equally long lashes made me wonder a few times if they were women before I knew of their identities. If you're one for bishounen, though, this should be perfect.

Skyla, the young witch who turns into a powerful and experienced one, is every bit the courageous and strong protagonist anyone could wish for. In addition to being lovely, she can speak her mind and even beat people up with her hands if she doesn't do so with magic. Despite her strength, she is sometimes saved by a curious man named Kaylus, who I will mention next. Anyway, Skyla is also accompanied by a familiar named Will, who primarily appears as a frog.

When Kaylus makes his first appearance, he seems to be an ornery man who likes to pick on Skyla and call her "kid" (the latter of which I despise). He is a skilled alchemist known for his abilities throughout the land, yet his origins are a mystery to many. He seems to have some kind of interest in Skyla. While he's a cool dude, I don't like how he is unbeatable in every battle he participates in. It's a little too perfect.

To be honest, while I shipped these two in the beginning, their pairing did not seem so attractive to me after a certain part of the story because they initially were a bickering duo and then jumped a step to the next part of their relationship. I understand both of them can be impulsive, but I value a relationship that progresses more gradually. On the attractive level, though, they're both very good looking, so there's that to consider.

Given the length of chapters, I was expecting this manhwa to be a bit more appealing than it was. I wished it delivered more in the beginning as it did nearing the end. Throughout it, though, I loved the artwork, and the history of witches was intriguing to me because I enjoy reading about legends. I suppose in romantic aspects, if you enjoy something a little quick, it wouldn't be bad.

I was expecting a fluffy, light read but was pleasantly surprised by the amount of substance in this story. Yes, it is a magical coming-of-age shoujo, but it also covers a much wider scope of different political/magical factions throughout various eras.

Skyla's character was refreshing. She is young and naive, but also not interested in taking crap from all of the various strong male characters that she encounters. She has a backbone and motive of her own, and is not inclined to wait around for somebody to rescue her when she is in a tight spot - she will find a way to make things happen ...
