As a harem manga, Umi no Misaki and Hare-Kon are basically in the same vein. I label them "true harem manga" where the main protagonist does not shy away from the harem idea itself, instead he embraces it and actually follows through without displaying much favoritism toward a certain girl. The setting is also quite similar; due to different circumstances, they are living together under one roof. If you like these kind of elements in your harem manga, look no further, these two are for you.

The two narratives show the struggle of one man giving proper time and love with multiple partners in one harem. Both manga's show the scuffle between the harem and the drama that it brings throughout the story. In addition to the complex romance tale, the mangaka's both have great detail and amazing show of artwork.

Fanservice focused mangas, with a lot of ecchi. The stories are completely different in tone and themes, but in both cases I was attracted by the art and character design.

Known for their rom-com elements, Nisekoi and Hare-Kon are two series that shares some similar themes. Their storytelling also involves the relationship of the two main leads as well as others that enters that story. Nisekoi is more focused with events from the past that connects with the present storyline along with slice of life elements. Hare-kon adapts more of a mature story that strictly focuses on the MC's relationship with others, in particular the main female protagonist.

Both can be considered trashy, both feature comedic and serious moments, both have a good amount of ecchi, and both have a cast that will have you picking sides.

The two male protagonists have multiple relations with women who are willing to share him but still fight for attention to become the number one choice. Both narratives flaunt a great dose of drama between the characters, which sometimes produce very comedic situations they end up in. Both manga's show renowned art work and character design not to mention the story in how impressive the character development is, as the plot transpires.

In both series, the main female protagonist gets herself trapped in a complicated affair that involves marriage. The relationship is considered for convenience as the main male protagonist is clingy towards their partner. However, both series slowly shows more about the main characters with their relationship that develops over time.

The two manga's are similar in the harem aspect of having multiple female characters fall for one male individual. Both stories show the challenges the main character go's through trying to keep the future successful picking the right partner to be with. Both manga's have talented Mangaka, they show stunning art work and very surprisingly funny comedic scenes throughout the narrative.
