If you're a big fan of vocaloid, you will have probably heard this song before/watched the video. If not, I highly recommend watching the music video before reading the manga, it's a pretty good song.

Story 7/10: Based on the song from 3 vocaloids, Miku, Kaito and Luka called 'Acute' we now have this manga that is filled with jealousy, regret, loss and dark senses. The story is about Miku, Luka and Kaito as childhood friends who grow up together building a strong friendship. Kaito always took a liking to Miku but then became more interested in Luka as they grew up. Thus, creating a ... love triangle between them. With only 5 chapters, things start to develop quickly jealousy wise between Miku and Luka. What we see at the start is a loving, fun and happy friendship which is then ripped apart towards the end. The story doesn't sound very convincing but seeing the effects on the characters it was brings this story to life.

Art 8/10: The art was really nice to look at with the character designs an all. Miku even gets some yandere eyes

Character 6/10: I couldn't see the characters being likeable, not even the ones that had been torn apart the most. The let jealous overtake them and ruin what a lovely friendship. Luka, betray Miku as did Kaito. And Miku acted upon this and went completely yandere and over the top which had led to regrets in the end.

Enjoyment 7/10: It's a fun read, to see what happens to the characters and how they're going to cope in this love triangle. Also to see Kaitos decision, weather he will stay with Luka or go back to how things used to be with Miku. Unfortunately it leaves you disappointed in the end.

Overall 7/10: Plot and characters were a little bad, but it was effective and can be entertaining for a lot of readers. Just remember that 5 chapters with a story like this doesn't go a long way.

This is one of the best vocaloid songs and it could have made a fantastic manga, but this just wasn't developed well. The art is gorgeous, but there's so many loose ends in story and character.

What in the world is going on with Kaito's backstory? I don't even know where to begin asking the questions. His father stabbed him as a child and he forgot about this up until now? It adds nothing really to the story and I just didn't get this.

The love triangle is very, very complex, and everyone seems to have a different story and a different take on what's ... going on. It makes for interesting storytelling, but three unreliable narrators in a book that's only a little over a hundred pages can get tedious and difficult to understand after a while.

The ending is extremely ambiguous and not really much of an ending. It would have made more sense for Miku and Kaito to have died, and Luka to have killed herself afterwards. The ending is a very unclear cliffhanger that just didn't make sense in the context of the story. We still don't know who Kaito chooses.

Miku slowly going mad was a really cool thing to see though, and I always enjoy a dark, twisted one-shot. I just wish they had spent a little more time on this and done more editing so it would make more sense.

I really wish I could like this more but I have a bunch of mixed feelings. I love how miku falls into obsession and would've loved to see it be expanded upon, the set up for everthing and Luka's and KAITO's relationship with eachother, but that's where my praise ends. The ending was heavily rushed and them just accepting Miku back into everything and her just going back to normal is just too 'perfect'. It just isn't realistic at all and what enrages me is when Miku basically r*ped KAITO. And how KAITO basically brushes it off along with him telling Luka that he "made ... love to Miku" basically saying it was all consentual and totally not like she forced him by saying she'll off herself and Luka if he doesn't!!! I love how the story fell and it could be realistic that KAITO brushes it off or blames himself as victims can be confused about things and the author could've commentated on r*pe culture and how males are viewed with SA especially in a culture like in Japan's, but it just seems as if it is ok and not at all a problem. The way they accept Miku and she returns to normal after a vision of her younger self after she stabs KAITO then herself is totally unrealistic and can give a false narrative to the reader that mental health issues like this can be solved on your own and can be completely gotten rid of once identified with no lasting impact it seems considering how the ending is basically a mirror of the start, basically saying nothing changed at all??? Ngl if I was Luka or KAITO I would be terrified of Miku afterwards and wouldn't want to be around her any more cause she LITERALLY TRIED TO KILL THEM AND R*PED KAITO WTF??? I wish this wasn't how it played about cause I thought the author had a great premise and story that could've been used really well, I just wish it was used better.
