Synopsis

Hatsune Miku and Megurine Luka have grown up very close to each other. After an orphan, Kaito, moves into a nearby children's home, Miku and Luka take him under their wing, and the three vow to stay together.

However, as they grow up, their feelings change. Miku finds herself romantically attracted to Kaito. She admits this to Luka, but when Luka informs her that she holds the same feelings toward Kaito, the two could become rivals at any time. However, with both Miku and Luka unwilling to risk their friendship, they vow that neither of them will ever confess their feelings. But will someone break the promise, and if so, at what cost?

If you're a big fan of vocaloid, you will have probably heard this song before/watched the video. If not, I highly recommend watching the music video before reading the manga, it's a pretty good song.

Story 7/10: Based on the song from 3 vocaloids, Miku, Kaito and Luka called 'Acute' we now have this manga that is filled with jealousy, regret, loss and dark senses. The story is about Miku, Luka and Kaito as childhood friends who grow up together building a strong friendship. Mixed Feelings
This is one of the best vocaloid songs and it could have made a fantastic manga, but this just wasn't developed well. The art is gorgeous, but there's so many loose ends in story and character.

What in the world is going on with Kaito's backstory? I don't even know where to begin asking the questions. His father stabbed him as a child and he forgot about this up until now? It adds nothing really to the story and I just didn't get this.

I really wish I could like this more but I have a bunch of mixed feelings. I love how miku falls into obsession and would've loved to see it be expanded upon, the set up for everthing and Luka's and KAITO's relationship with eachother, but that's where my praise ends. The ending was heavily rushed and them just accepting Miku back into everything and her just going back to normal is just too 'perfect'.
