I just made account to write a review about Tomodachi Game. It's my first time writing review about an manga. If you are into psychological and suspense genre of manga to read, I recommend you this. I am on currently chapter 108 and still I am loving it, the story, the characters, the manga panels and the most of all psychological thriller and manipulation.

The story itself is amazing, the characters are amazing, just everything is amazing. The plot starts off with 5 close friends trapped in a room and one of them is in debt. There is so much excitement, betrayals, and suspense it makes a great story.
Of course not all the characters are likeable, but they all have an important role to play no matter how annoying or clingy. The MC is especially likeable and all the characters have very special traits about them. All the arcs are amazing in their own way, naturally some are more exciting than others but even the boring ones have ...

The protagonist is relatable, though his thought process is unorthodox and sometimes things are just too forced. However, this manga takes real attention to detail and it is possible for the reader to come up with conclusions even before the protagonist. An example of this is the magic trick made by Kamishiro-sama to deceive Kokogori in the Gambling Cruise. Some details are hidden in the images, and there are lots of variables to think of while reading the manga, but it succeds in nit being too hard to understand. You're better off reading Kaiji or watching Squid Games. Or maybe watching One Outs. I'd put this in the same category as Liar Game -- it's pretty tacky and the story telling is clunky; twists are pretty obvious, too. This story fails the "show, don't tell" maxim for storytelling -- a lot of character building comes from characters saying "omg he's a devil!" or "wow he is soooo evil!" instead of letting the story speak for itself. A lot of the "heheh im so evulz lololol" stuff is pretty cringe and it gets old pretty fast. There are much better alternatives in this genre to

I don't usually read manga. Wanted to check out the story after being dissatisfied with ep1 of the anime adaption, but seeing multiple 10 reviews here.
I'd give it an overall 7 "Good". I found it an enjoyable and engaging read. The story is generally structured as a detective, and I'd say the main pull for me was in trying to figure out the puzzle elements of the plot. I wouldn't call the writing perfect. It suffers from all the typical amateur issues such as over-explanation and immersion-breaking inattention to details. But if I was 16, I probably wouldn't mind it nearly as much. I won't be spoiling anything.
Plot: The first few chapters are boring but it gets good within 10 chapters so no excessive intro which is good. After that, it's also amazing and doesn't get boring quickly. 10/10 Characters: The side characters are really well written and have a good backstory. Every part of the writing is important to the story and not some stuff we'll never hear again and is just not important at all. 10/10 Now, about the MC. This guy's manipulation abilities are insane, his morals are nonexistent and he's really good at acting. With him, you can NEVER assume anything. He's unpredictable and that's why ...
