You should read it, it's worth the short while you will spent on it.
I've checked out this short horror manga, because of the Ryukishi07 name and was pleasently surprised by how much I ended up enjoying it.
The length obviously does not allow for a similar level of complexity and depth as the likes of Higurashi or Umineko and many of the topics, such a superstition, bullying and a critique of the japanese education system are pretty familiar, but the story as a whole still feels pretty fresh and has a fairly unique protagonist.
