Queer/gay/lesbian/queer/NBLW/NBLM/bisexual/pansexual/omnisexual/asexual/aromantic transgender characters in manga. ▪︎I grew up reading comics📓、novels📚&manga📖 in Thai🇹🇭 because I couldn't read in English yet🇺🇸、so it really helped me understand the story.😊 Some older ones missing that I can't find on MAL: Manga's and more i want to read that are 500+ chapters. Once i have completed a manga i will delete it and replace it with another one. Science fiction manga that feature LGBT (gay, lesbian, bisexual, binary transgender, non-binary, genderqueer, intersex, pansexual, asexual, aromantic, etc.) characters. First of all, not every movie adaption is good as their original source manga. Also, not every movie in this list is on the level of Rurouni Kenshin, but they are still solid and fun to watch. I've gone into MAL's database to find as many of these as I can, with some general criteria for making the list: Shonen and Seinen series which have individuals battling against each other, most often with special powers or fantasy-style special abilities, and also have a large number of chapters. Not recommended unless you have time to kill. a collection of manga that had me do a double take on reading the description bc either the premise was so insane i had to know how on earth the author was planning execute it, its a concept i never would've thought of in a million years, is perverse in a way that's so wild it circles back around to sexless, or simply is so wack that morbid curiosity got the better of me. some are less severe than others, really this stack ranges from 'oh that's a bit of an odd idea' to 'who on EARTH could POSSIBLY be the target audience for this???' so uh. good luck. I LOVE LOVE LOVE worldbuilding, especially if it revolves around a specific and unique gimmick or theme. It’s so fun to explore, and I really want to see more anime/manga that have a unique worldbuilding gimmick, instead of the same old high fantasy medival-whatever world. |
