After I finished reading this, I was a little lost...
Did I miss an entire half of the pages or something? The story jumped around from one point to the other, never really making any connection. The entire thing went to stockholm syndrome far too quickly and most things were never really explained. Nothing was really explored, but then again, there's not much to expect from a one-shot to begin with. I wasn't really expecting any character development or anything, but I was disappointed that there wasn't any story at all. It read like an outline, if I'm being honest.
The art was good enough, nothing special.
...
The characters were pretty bad. The motivations were unclear, feelings were just stated, dialogue was awkward, and personalities clashed and made little sense.
I enjoyed it enough to finish it, but most of the time I was just staring at the page and going "What? Did I skip a page?"
In all honesty, it makes me feel as though someone just published something that was half-done. For the sake of it being a one-shot, I'm going to give it the benefit of the doubt and give it a four, because despite its many faults, it wasn't terrible-- it was just pretty bad.
I wouldn't recommend this at all unless you just have five-ten minutes of your life you desperately want to get rid of.
Have a great day everyone!
