i won't lie, i was hooked for a little bit, but after a while, the terrible art and plot contrivances really get in the way of the enjoyment. if you know me, i'm not one to usually complain about "plot contrivances" but this is essentially a mystery story. what the fuck are you doing pulling out evidence randomly at the last second that the audience doesn't even know about? and none of the cases are ever solved in a way that evokes any interesting emotions or catharsis, they're all these saccharine endings for stories that have some seriously heavy subject matter regarding suicide, domestic violence, ... rape, and all kinds of other shit. i don't hate saccharine endings on principle but this shit just felt like a lack of understanding about storytelling to me. dont bother.
