They both have the employee-employer relationship. In both the characters are similar - naive woman and a womanizer. In both they are trying to keep their relationship secret. And they have a reaaaally similar feeling. Also the art is similar, but they are both josei, so that should be understandable. Since MS has vampires/supernatural you might not like it, but I still think (as a seinen/mature reader) it is better, more real josei than Hapi Mari. Hapi Mari has more....shoujo vibe.

If you liked Vampire knight I think you will like Midnight secretary too. Both are about vampires and a pretty heroine who falls in love with one. And both mangas gave me the same shivery feeling if you know what I mean.

They both have a non-human as the male partner. In both there is a secret society of powerful beings that have clans and rules to abide by. In both the female has issues to deal with for pregnancy and marriage. In both the female gives (blood, spirit) freely to their partners.

The same author, but this history is more adorable :3

Genre: Romance and Smut. The relationships are both based on a boy that basically "needs" to touch the girl to survive...even if this sounds weird, both mangas do a good job developing the romantic relationship carefully and slowly.

Both have hardships, in office setting, smutty-ish but the girls are in love with somebody of higher power that kind of relationship is not really looked up upon.

Same feel, both protagonist are girls, both have vampires... in VG the vampire has to help the girl when she gets into trouble. In MS, it's the girl helping the vampire.

Although one is a straight love story and the other is a BL, they have a lot of similar points. It's also a relationship between a employee and a boss and the two bosses of the stories are very identical in their demanding, sexy and possessive way of being. Loved them both.

Both "Midnight Secretary" and "Spell of Desire" have the same author and very similar storylines, came out in the same magazine etc. They have a lot in common, including: -very similar art style, especially how the eyes and bodies are drawn -similar page and panel layout, dialogue structure etc -the main character's names all start with the letter K -Kaoruko & Kaya are pretty much the same character, this damsel-in-distress whose main defining feature is that they're infatuated with dude (Kaname/Kyouhei) -Kaname & Kyouhei are pretty much the same character, the too cool bad boy whose abuse & possessive but for some irrational reason the ladies love him -nearly identical story  read more

Vampire who love/get friend with human. In Crepuscule and Midnight Secretary Vampires try not to hurt any people, they don't want to kill them, but even so - they think of themself as a better space.

- Midnight Secretary is a shoujo, Hishoken is yaoi. In both, the secretary is very capable and start to work with an "eccentric" director. Over time the secretary fall in love for the director, but is torn between love and work. The feelings is a little different but one resembles the other.

The most handsome guy who is fooling all the girls and using them only for sex fall in love with an ' ugly ' and unpopular woman.
reportRecommended by Shadake
Forbidden romances between a vampire and human, both feature vampire clans that extremely elitist. Karin is much tamer and more humorous; Midnight Secretary is has a more consistently dark and dramatic tone.

Both are for mature audiences. Both have a vampire who, after drinking a certain white crows(Love Monster) or humans(Midnight Secretary) blood, demand that no one elses blood would fully "satisfy their taste".

The relationship maybe isn't the same, but the two manga are hot and with a lovely relationshop between the characters ^^
reportRecommended by Raidou
Both mangas are about handsome rich playboys who end up falling in love with their secretaries.

Both are shoujo mangas about a vampire guy and human girl. Mainly concentrating on the relationship development between the two parties. Another similarity would be that they both contain smut scenes though Bloody Kiss is a lot more mild compared to Midnight Secretary.

same kind of romance...but instead of guy being a vampire...the girl is a succubus. lilim kiss is more comedic but gets just as serious...both great read if u like the romance
reportRecommended by PandaBoi
both mangas involve women who are resistant to admit their love to the man. And both are great love stories, although midnight secretary is much more serious. both mangas are also made for a mature audience.

Romance with vampires. Midnight secretary deals with a secretary who`s in love with her superior and is willing to do anything and everything she can to make herself "useful". Dance in the Vampire Bund also follows the same formula.

Both done by the same creator and feature titillating smutty tales of love of a more mythological type. Midnight Secretary being about vampires and Kindan no Koi de Ikou being about a wolfwere (a wolf who turns into a human).

Josei, romance, somehow similar in drawing style, smutty elements. Though MS is a longer story.

In both titles a woman has a relationship with her boss.

Stories about woman who fell in love with mysterious guy (vampire/wolf) made by the same mangaka

Both are for mature audiences. Both are focused around vampires. Both main characters, when chatting with a 3rd party, try to save face by insisting that their relationship(s) is/are "business only". For example: Kaya & Kyouhei(Midnight Secretary) refer to each other as Secretary & Director & Sakuya & Atsumi(Nekrateholic) refer to each other as Vampire & Vampire Hunter. Both have a vampire who, after drinking a certain human(Midnight Secretary) or dhampirs(human with ancestry of a vampire+human union)(Nekrateholic) blood, demand that no one elses blood would fully "satisfy their taste".
