Hikari reminds me of Takami both being very boyish. And Kei reminds me of Akira. If you like Special A/Venus Capriccio I'm sure you'll enjoy the other.

The main characters Takami (Venus Capriccio) and Ito (W-Juliet) are both tomboyish and more 'feminine' guys fall in love with them. Both are about performing arts (music and acting) and although the storyline is quite different, I think that they are both enjoyable to read!

Both hero's and heroine are: - Childhoodfriends - One of them tells their feelings for the other - A long time no response came - Then love story develops Both are really sweet loveable manga. And if you like one other you will love the other one too :D

Both stories involve childhood friends who learn piano together. The character types are the same: lively female leads with unique playing styles and prince-like male leads who play technically well, but without any emotion. The females inspire the males and they finally learn to have fun while playing the piano. Both are slow romances and have beautiful art. The key differences are the genres: Kimi no Tame ni Hiku Chopin is a supernatural comedy set in college, while Venus Capriccio is a realistic drama set in highschool.

both are romances revolving around music and piano play

Both stories have a female lead who are clueless when it comes to love or choosing the right person. Furthermore, both of them are tough, strong and boyish, although kind. I also like both of them because the art of both the manga are very similar.

This manga is similar due to the main male having feelings for the main female, the female also does not realize her feelings,in both mangas the leads have known each other since childhood

Both involve playing the piano. The protagonist each have a unique style of playing piano.

In both stories, the guy looks or is more feminine and watches over the girl, who is more head-first and tomboyish. Both female protagonists grew up in a family full of guys ^^

Both of them involve masculine girls and feminine guys who fall in love

The both have similar characters: -a tomboy/awkward main character who gets prettier as the manga develops -cool feminine guy who is the love interest Also, these both are very humorous and have something to do with a specialized skill (piano/modeling). Overall, I think they have a very similar feel and that if you liked one, you'll definitely like the other.

They're both about musicians and their relationships with both each other and music. Nodame's funnier though.

The same style to the manga and storyline. The characterization is similar.

Both these series are written by the same author, and although Venus Capriccio is much more fleshed out due to its longer length, they both still have a similar style. Try them both!

Both are musical in its own way with a girl falling in love with a bishie whose so awesome at music.

Both stories involve a slightly wayward and childish character under the care of a more mature and elegant individual and the development and fulfillment of love. The bildungsroman theme is also present which makes both stories a delightful read. The plots are both well crafted and hold a mature appeal that is infrequent amongst the typical shoju novel. VC involves a tomboyish girl and a mature younger pianist who have been friends since childhood while KPS depicts a relationship between an elder journalist and a younger dancer who she just met and ends up living with her. Both made me laugh, cry and had me  read more
