Yet another Manhwa with lots of promise that gets cancelled.
Now, I'm not trying to scare you away from reading XO Sisters because it's not finished, but the fact that it was cancelled affected my enjoyment and my opinion about it. Certainly, it is not easy to review an unfinished Manhwa but I will try my best.
Storywise, XO Sisters falls into the countless generic Mangas/Manhwas that have the MC and his/her companions fight against monsters from another realm whilst the general population of the world are unaware of them. Potential. XO Sisters is the epitome of potential.The series shines with a unique charm and room for development in every single chapter. The characters might not be the most well-written, and the art is amazing but it's not the absolute best. The story is pretty cliche, but with a unique spin on it. The entire manga is incredibly enjoyable and reading it is a total joy. However, it's still hard to rate it above a 7, or even a 6.

THIS IS NOT A SPOILER, but if anything you think seems to tell the point of the story, Forgive me.
First, I'm quite disappointed with this Manhwa because the Volume and Chapters are short, and there is still a lot to explain, but I don't want to look for trouble, maybe something happened with the Author and people related to this Manhwa, hopefully they are fine. Second, to be honest I'm annoyed with this Manhwa but that doesn't mean it's not good, it's just maybe not what I expected and maybe not good for me, but I recommend this to those of you who read my first ... |
