After a night of blissful freedom, Cinderella reluctantly returns to a life of mundane servitude. Only yesterday, she was the star of the royal ball—dancing with and captivating the prince. The toll of the clock striking 12 marked the end of that fleeting night and made liberation an impossible dream. But unbeknownst to her, she is being sought after by the kingdom. Will this bring about her salvation, or the exact opposite?

In this twisted take on the classic folk tale, Cinderella quickly learns that everything has a cost, and anything that sounds too good to be true almost certainly is.

Story 9: - 12 O'clock Bell Ring is an extremely extraordinary story. Lolita-gothic art isn't usually my daily read, I doubt I've read much gothic anyway (Count them on fingers). But what attracted me to this story is the amazing twists in this one-shot. It's a different version of Cinderella, and I might like this one just as much. Except that, this one isn't a role model for kids looking for endless happy ending tales. The characters are TOTALLY different and they are the complete opposite, which makes this story even more interesting.

Art 10: - The art is amazingly drawn. I've gotten to my read more

A dream never comes for free..This is a great story coming as a little change to the all so popular Cinderella..With some changed characters with a teeny cinderella that acts like a normal human and a prince that doesn't talk all so royalish ..
The story has a surprise that will make you jump out of your pants..I never though a one shot would be that great..
It's so recommended for anyone who wants a good plot with some unexpected events :D

This is a really twisted manga. It’s definitely not like the Cinderella story that we grew up with. In fact, I consider it closer to a Grim Fairy Tale more-so then a children’s tale with an ending that can make your skin crawl. It did for me and that is really rare. I do have to give you a slight warning if you really do not like spiders, this may not be the story for you. Other then that, Cinderella was really annoying when she started sounding like a valley girl.

The artwork is that of a fairytale, very befitting, and yet the proportions read more

Gothic humor filled with dramatic designs and quirky personalities, plus one awesome twist. This oneshot is a quick read, but it definitely had me smirking by the end of it.

Imagine if Cinderella wasn't as sweet or selfless as what we're used to seeing. It wouldn't be the first stab at creating a self-centered version of her, but this was done in such a way that bordered on parody. I loved it. She was an aggravating drama queen in a flowy gothic dress, and the prince... oh boy, the prince....

Without spoiling, all I can say is that it's worth the 5 minute read. The ending especially read more
