First off, I only picked this up because of Sugata from Sora no Otoshimono being in here.

Started reading, Mahou Tenshi does a good job of introducing the main character along with the plot. The side characters however, I can't say much of the same. Bringing these new characters along for the ride only made me miss the characters of Sora no Otoshimono much more because of their archetypes being so similar.

Now the art is good, just what you'd expect from Suu Minazuki. Although, I half expected to be put on a watchlist or something due to the amount of elementary school-girl panty shots ... and overall body focus. (Which is kind of what you'd expect from Minazuki but having the excuse of Cosmos being "mature for her age" isn't exactly the argument you think you have the winning side on.) Just don't read this in public.

Plot was interesting enough. Still a focus on the "New World" Sugata was always searching for, with added suspense unlike anything in SnO. You actually worry for the main girl Cosmos and this world, but not so much her friends.

Overall, finished to chapter 7, not sure if I'll continue from there, the ecchi is a big turn off and just distracts from the main storyline.
