Synopsis

For his twentieth birthday, Shizuka chooses to go to a hot springs alone. To his surprise, he also ends up seeing his first naked woman... a passed out drunk girl. Soon afterward he enters college, and his friend from high school convinces him to join the female dominated travel and hot springs club. Amazingly, the girl he saw naked, Ruka, is also a member of the club! Now he must interact with his club more or less normally, and pretend he doesn't imagine Ruka naked every time he sees her. He is determined that his embarrassing secret never be made public!

Hetakoi a story all about fate. As I read it more. I pondered if what happened needed to happen to reach the conclusion but is whatever. This story is quite good at building each characters personality or connection to the story, even the later characters that got introduced still had a purpose and weren't just there for the sake of it.
MC meets FMC in a pretty bizzare situation and boom not to spoil anything but there's a few "incidents" that could've been avoided if there was communication but where's the fun in that?

If you are hopelessly romantic like me who loves pure love with a little bit of lust, you will not like this manga. Well also if you don't like manga there is some douchebag who gets in between the relationship of our Hero and Heroine, this is not the manga for you.

This has spoilers. A better name for Hetakoi would be "The Adventures of Dipshit and Dipshit." It starts out well enough. Komai Shizuka seems like a fairly sharp, forthright guy and he falls in love with Ruka, his senior in Tabisen, a hot springs club he joins. The first 20 chapters focus on the two of them getting to know each other and getting to the point where they're about to date. What follows is the most frustrating, excruciating collection of padding that I think I've ever seen. Roughly 30 chapters go by filled with all the typical padding elements.
