Manga: Kaijuu 8-gou
Two people with a non-human part of themselves, being threatened by official crime countering instances. They join the fights from the 'good' side even though they are being kept under close watch because they are dangerous and powerful beings.

Manga: Dogs: Bullets & Carnage
Hitogatana and DOGS give a similiar feeling and the drawings are quite similiar too; Their stroy is a little diffrent, but both contain a lot of fighting, characters with sad and twisted pasts, experiments on humans, people who aren't exactly human beings and a lot of action. DOGS has more blood and is darker though, while hitogatana is a little calmer.

Manga: Bungou Stray Dogs
The stories aren't especially similar but the art style and tone are somewhat reminiscent, with minimalistic backgrounds and fewer tones. The main characters are similar int he sense that they were rejected by society for the circumstances out of their control relating to their birth, and find a new place among a police-like agency. Hitogatana is somewhat more original and less humorous compared to Bungou Stray Dogs, but both are great reads (especially Hitogatana!)! If you like one, you'll probably enjoy the other.

Manga: Sidonia no Kishi
Similar character designs, a near immortal protagonist, futuristic setting and themes of what it is to be human, and what it is to be a weapon. Both really great manga full of intense action, a well-conceived science fiction world, great art and interesting questions. If you like one, the other will definitely be worth checking into.
