Yang Can't Live Alone gives us a physically strong, independent, perfect at everything (except love) FL- Shinonome, and a charismatic, clingy, (secretly anxious) boyfailure exchange student ML- Yang! They have to be reintroduced first in this review, as their likeability and silly dynamic is the major focus of the series. While it has it's fair share of cliche's, the characters are very direct, so it's never frustrating to read.
The art style is gorgeous, and the panels are a good mix of comedic and captivating. Yang often speaks in Chinese, which is left untranslated so that we are just as confused as the characters around him,
...
which is really fun! While they are in college, there is still a 'coming of age'/self-improvement theme, so if you're a fan of those types of romance stories, you'll probably enjoy this one!
This is a preliminary (11 chapter) review, but I'm confident this story will remain just as enjoyable to read! It doesn't take itself too seriously, but keeps you rooting for the characters to improve and reach their goals.
