I notice a lot of people dislike it simply because it resembles Wakui's previous work. However, I genuinely enjoy the story, it's quite nice and I find myself enjoying it every time I read. It's not as bad as some make it out to be. And while we're on the topic, I also have to give credit to the incredible editing of the manga. Each time I read the next chapter, I can't help but notice the editing for the next chapter gets even better. Whether it's the pacing of the story, character development, or consistency, I genuinely feel that the editing is pushing the

You know there's this feeling when you're a kid, and you're waiting in, for example, a hospital or waiting for a scheduled appointment, as kids, that bored the fuck out of our souls... So what did we do to try to make that time more engaging or at least more entertaining? Think about some awesome stories, I at least did that. Great characters and great fights! You know? When we let our livid and vast imagination go wild to think about those amusing thinking... But that is what that was, just a brief moment of you with yourself, making use of our little world inside

Well, I don't get why it is a 6 starts score since I really like it. At the beginning it didn't hook me, but chapters passed and now I find it really interesting. I don't relate it with Tokyo Revengers in my head and find stupid this idea; you can dislike the gang's theme, or the time travel one, but it doesn't mean all Wakui's works will have it. Astro Royale has nothing related with it and it's simply a Shonen with its battles and misteries.
Characters are so endearing for me and I especially love Kinpa. Wakui's always been good with characters as I consider ... May 27, 2024
I'm actually early for once so lemme put somethin down here as to what I feel right now and have the comfort that at least one person will read it. For someone who already made a really good manga like Ken Wakui its surprising that he's coming back and actually sticking to it being weekly. I would argue that he is the best delinquent mangaka there is so having him continue is great and I hope he has the same pace that Tokyo Revengers had. As for the actual story we are still only 6 chapters in as of me writing this so its a

The manga which came under heavy criticism even before the release of the first chapter, a new serialization from the author of Tokyo Revengers, Negai no Astro has the hit the scene. My thoughts about it. Ehhh.....
Firstly, let's address the criticism, it is overblown. Condemnation of a work just cause the ending of Tokyo Revengers, which was the author's previous work, was a bit controversial, is just braindead. But is every and all criticism against it is just the result of the hate train? No. Because to an extent it needs criticism. The author, witnessing the success of his previous work, decided to put on the ... |
