Both manga are exploring Hitler and his motivations. While Waga Tousou is a comic adaptation of Mein Kampf, Shigeru Mizuki's Hitler is a study of Hitler as a human.

Historical manga presenting the events during World War II, in which the author fought. As is typical for art by Mizuki Shigeru, the artstyle employs caricatured and distorted humans combined with highly realistic and well drawn background. Both are closer to a war document than a regular manga.

Both of these manga has part the is decicated to young days of Hitler as he was still yet a struggling artist. While Mizuki Shigeru's Hitler is hitorically accurate, Shin Devilman mixes in fantasy elements.

Both are historical manga depicting the historical period of Adolf Hitler's reign and his fall. They explore Hitler's character not just as a one-dimensional villain, but also as a human (albeit still a twisted one). While Adolf ni Tsugu is a historical fiction, Hitler is only about real historical events.
