Except for the fact that they are both popular korean colored webtoons, they both have great plot. The main similarity is that the authors don't care just for action scenes but they desire to give the background story of the characters. Each character has his own interesting and mysterious story, and slowly the readers learn how they reached to be how they are.

In both GANTZ and Trace, there are people who are chosen to protect society even though the truth about them always seems to be hidden. Also, in both manga, there are different groups who are fighting amongst each other until an enemy comes that is powerful enough to make them realize their mistakes and unite to defeat a common enemy. Although the people in GANTZ don't have powers like those in trace, they are equipped with futuristic weapons and suits that give them the ability to combat the enemy.

In Claymore there are monsters, called Yoma, that can only be killed by warriors known as Claymores. It's similar to Trace.

Both works depict gritty realism that shows the dark side of the society, through sci-fi concepts(or superpower). Both manhwa are told in a multiple perspective fashion. It is done well because the mystery is slowly unraveled in a way that makes the readers to keep read on. (If you hadn't noticed that I used the term manhwa, both are done by Korean artists)

Both revolve in a world where people with superpowers are something normal, thought Hero Academia is more cheerful and kids friendly.

Manhwa of different genres, but both containing intensely emotional drama that doesn't just hit readers once, but bash at us continuously. Both are webtoons (colored, full-page korean comics) that are written and drawn by Nasty Cat.

both of them are korean and coloured.the action and setting is also the same (supernatural, humans with super powers, people forming teams and friendships). if you love action, shounen, comedy, supernatural genres manga/manhwa i promise you, you will also love this work of art

In both Trace and D. Gray-Man, there are the heroes, in Trace it's the "Trace"s and in D. Gray-Man it's the Exorcists, and monsters in Trace there are the "Trouble"s and D. Gray-Man has Akuma. Both are very similar in a sense that mutant people are fighting demon-like creatures.

godly abilities and rebellion against the current order. both reflect on the dark and disgusting nature of people

special powers, extreme fights, need to become stronger, elaborate plans, confusion between the good side and the bad side, right and wrong... protecting/fighting for someone dear... in a sum: lots of similarities between these two well drawn stories.

normal people gain powers that must be used to prevent a horrible, imminent fate

the main characters are similar. the protagonist has a female friend whom he wants to protect, therefore he tried to get stronger. The character of Yun Seong Kim ends up developing a perspective of the world and the people who govern it similar to Woo Han Chun. both have really strong character development.

Trace and Alive both deal with characters that have supernatural powers. In Alive, the main character who has a special power has to fight others who have evolved and received other different powers, but are using theirs for evil. In Trace, the Trace have to fight the Troubles.

Same background info about people changing into "mutants" with abnormal power being cast out from society and going through similar treatment to be used as pawns, pursued, etc. Both are very good. :)
