I love this manhwa so much it shows a lot of stuff that actually apply to people in the actual world . It shows heiner overthinking. He was a narcissist and a sadist, it shows the reality about how sadists and narcissists behave in the actual world that's why I loved it. Eventually he did change that was a relief. It shows Annette big heart so forgiving some women wouldn't accept a man that was her own downfall.She didn't really have the choice though she lost her family He was the only one she counted on.He changed he became a proper human being. I firmly believe that My Beloved Oppressor, or MBO, from now on, is one of the most unique manhwa stories I've ever encountered. It's right up there on my personal list of unforgettable ones such as Who Made Me a Princess (WMMAP), On the Way to Meet Mom (Mom), and Solo Leveling (Solo), among other titles.
If you noticed, they're mostly fantastical stories with vivid and wonderful worlds that spark my curiosity. They've all got magic, demons, mana, and the like. MBO, however, has none of these things. It's grounded in reality, so much so that it sometimes feels almost ridiculous and exaggerated. Almost. I usually avoid stories ... Dec 2, 2025
Unlike many stories with a title similar to this series, this one is quite well expressed. I never read the novel however this is one of the few instances where there were almost no whole in the story.
The story starts from the female lead's perspective which makes you feel the pain she is going through. Her struggles and thoughts are expressed too well. Later we also get to view the male leads perspective, even if he had lots of pain and suffered, the story is not giving him the justice. As a reader I really didn't want to end them up until the very late ... |
