I wonder why there isn't any review for this one yet.
Well.
I love the art. She always brings a totally different experience of art to her manga, and I adore that. Some people may be put off by it at their first read, but after you get used to it, the beauty shows.
The storytelling is also a strong point. Fluid. This is quite a depressing manga, and the mood was set right from the very beginning. Since this is one of her later works, improvement is pretty notable compared to, say, Copernicus no Kokyuu (this one's still good nonetheless.) Pretty hard to describe in words,

but in Double Mints you can see that she rolls the story rather than symbolizing it.
This is a deliciously dark read. Highly recommended. I reread this twice. Other than for understanding the story deeper, there's something from this manga that lures you in. Perhaps it's the elegance.
