I randomly read the entire series in several hours, and I have come to enjoy this Manhwa.
The MC was dealt an unlucky hand of cards in his original life and somehow he got thrown into a Murim world.
His dedicated past life efforts created a focused mindset allowing him to carry good-willed values for himself, others, and the world.
The story is a fusion of the MC applying modern world concepts in a Murim dimension while learning other worldly martial arts.
There is one aspect of this Manhwa I have come to enjoy, it's the brilliant integration of modern world ideas.
Fast food, transportation, housing, and even
...
references to movies like Matrix are nice touches. It is nice to know these things are not done with half effort, there is a lot of planning and details which lead to the appropriate introduction into the Murim world.
Sadly there is one issue with the Manhwa, the pacing is unusually fast. There are chapters where you randomly find out that 3-6 years pass in the blink of an eye. This kind of issue is heavy, it would have been nice if the time skips were done with more focus rather than random spans.
