To start us off, I’ll just say I wouldn’t recommend this series to anyone. I’m shocked that Revenge of the BS Bloodhound is as popular as it is. In my opinion, the story is a 3/10 at best. I don’t wanna waste a lot of my time, so I’ll keep it short
A quick plot rundown: Raised as deadly assassins, the Baskerville children serve without question. Bikir, the shunned illegitimate son, is no exception, until his own father kills him. Reborn with memories of his past life, Bikir now vows to rise above his bloodthirsty family and get revenge. This time, he’s ready to bite back.
Yeah…
...
this one’s about as generic as it gets. Demons, angels, monsters, a bit of romance, it throws everything at the wall without much thought. Nothing feels meaningful or different from the dozens of other series like it.
The characters? Vikir Van Baskerville, Camyu Morgue, and Aiyen are supposed to be the main characters of the story, but they come off flat. Like they were pulled straight from a fantasy character generator. No spark, no depth, just... there.
The only real highlight is the art. It’s solid, detailed, somewhat expressive, and clean. But nice visuals can’t carry a story when the rest feels this basic.
Revenge of the BS Bloodhound just ends up being another bland revenge fantasy. Same tropes, same worldbuilding, same tired formula. If you’ve read one, you’ve basically read them all
So if you’re just here for decent art and don’t mind the usual clichés, it might be fine. But if you're after anything fresh or emotionally grounded, you’ll want to skip this one.
