"I Became A Part Time Employee For Gods" is a very, unique/interesting manwha concept. The most similar manwha to this, I can remember from the top of my head, would be "I’ll be Taking a Break for Personal Reasons," but that is still different in its own right. One thing I must say, though, is that the art is surprisingly good. However, no matter how good the art is, it doesn’t compensate for a badly written story. Well, there are many good and bad things about this manwha story-wise, which is why I didn’t give a higher score.

To start off with the positives, it would ... be the main character’s personality/love for his mother and sensible/naive actions. Prior to this, the main character was a regular human being, so it’s normal for him to choose flight as a response in his fight-or-flight events. Even then, though, the “flight” option would always be used in one way or another to reflect the mc’s power.

The biggest issue I have with this manwha would be the immense amount of plot-armor. Each time the mc is in “danger,” he would remember/get a certain power boost that lets him overcome his tribulation. Along with this, nothing of the world/system/setting is explained like levels, acquisition of strength, etc.

It is definitely a fun read, but gets progressively worse when you realize the lack of effort taken to introduce struggle and the setting. I’d give it a shot, but it is nearly verbatim to a “fake struggle then power trip” manwha.

PS: Art + concept carries the story hard. Also, it seems to be a solo mc manwha so take that into consideration before reading.
