A pretty interesting concept thus far.

A sickly man has found himself through stunning circumstances as the ace of the Demon King's army. He is pretty sure he is not at all qualified for this position but is forced to grit his teeth and endure until he can somehow slip away.

But as the story goes on, something seems distinctly wrong with his claims, and things just aren't adding up...

I won't say much, as the manwha is still ongoing, but the story quickly evolves beyond the initial concept into something much different. It transforms into something more like if you put violence, drama, a bit of ... politics, and a lot of mental illness into a shaker and served it to our sickly protagonist, whose deep confusion and melodrama lighten up the mix.

Interesting premise but inconsistent execution, and difficult-to-like characters.

Engaging Early Chapters: The first 10-15 chapters capture interest with a strong start, but the story quickly loses appeal.
Split Personality Gimmick: The split personality aspect becomes tedious as it’s not well-explained. The sudden switches between the MC's normal and psycho behavior feel random and confusing.
Disappointing Character Development: The MC, initially portrayed as weak, abruptly becomes a hero, clumsily justified by split personality and misunderstandings. The shift is messy and lacks logical consistency.
Depressing Atmosphere: The story's tone becomes increasingly bleak and heavy, sapping the enjoyment out of what could have been an engaging fantasy.
Inconsistent Story Elements: The story incorporates ... intriguing themes like politics, war, rivalry, and revenge, but they are not always handled consistently. The plot has potential but fails to deliver on its promise.
Unlikable Characters: The characters, especially the main duo (MC and his brother), are written with development, but they come across as unpleasant, making it hard to root for any of them.
Misunderstandings Overused: Misunderstandings drive both comedy and plot, but they quickly become tiresome and detract from the story's overall quality.
