Synopsis

Gwak Lee, an ordinary military officer, loses the ability to use his arms and legs after being brutally beaten by Ilhyeon Gwan of Shinmaryeon clan. In the depths of despair, Gwak starts learning the "Jade Temple System," thinking he has nothing left to lose. After mastering the ultimate somatic technique, his body recovers from the disability. I'd say I'm a pretty seasoned reader of mangas and manhwas and highly recommend this series. The author, Woo-Gak, is a master of his craft and has also been running the famous Legend of the Northern Blade. Gwak's rise from nothing to becoming a force to be reckoned with is something everyone can relate to, even if just for the sake of the story. It's extremely entertaining to see Gwak's continuous growth.
I know this review may seem biased, and quite honestly it is. This series really has a special place in my heart, ranking even above the Legend of the Northern Blade. The story ...

My review are short and maybe not very detail, nevertheless here we go:

This manhwa, Martial Artist Lee-Gwak, are one of those rare gem. It has great story and the are is superb. Maybe some people will be upste when reading this manhwa for the first time because the art is not like your average/ regular art where the character are drawn plainly..
So about the story, I can say that its fun. The male lead is a low-rank foot soldier in a union of martial artist organization. One day, he piss off one of the higher up of other big organization and he almost die. ...

Gonna keep this short and sweet, this manhwa was unfortunately cut short. The studio for whatever reason (probably financial) decided to not continue the series right when it was starting to reach its peak. For most people this is a deal breaker and personally I don't blame you. Although it's an amazing read, unless you are a diehard martial arts/murim fan I would suggest looking for something else. The source novel is finished however there is no full English translation and honestly there might never be. Maybe in 10 years ChatGPT can translate it :*(

Honest score because its unfinished: 1

Personal score: High 7, Low 8
