[Under the review text is a summary of the whole manhwa]
I’m honestly speechless at how badly this manhwa just nosedived. It started off strong with good pacing and a pretty interesting story, focusing on world-building and the relationships between characters—it was actually enjoyable and sometimes even cute. But then Cordelia showed up, and the plot totally lost its mind! The story kept jumping all over the place, and it got super messy. Plus, Duke Valencia barely even seemed like the “villain” anymore, like the author forgot who he was supposed to be (which, honestly, they did).
After chapter 86, there were three whole time skips, and

honestly, it left tons of plot holes and made everything feel really unsatisfying. The beginning had so much potential, but the ending was just… crap. Nobody could make sense of the last few chapters because everything was rushed like crazy. But to save you the headache, here’s the whole story in a nutshell:

Saint Cordelia 1 reads a book about the future where she shares the same looks and name with Saint Cordelia 2 but everyone thinks Cordelia 1 is bad and a fraud, everyone hates her and leaves her to die in a fire.
The guys who left her to die in a fire was
Raul: House of Orixa, Cordelia 2’s cousin
Edmund: House of Petros, guy who likes Cordelia 2
Blake: House of Lampez, guy who also likes Cordelia 2
In the book it was stated that Cordelia 2 is the real Cordelia., who is Saint Rosalynn and Christian Orixa’s daughter.
Saint Rosalynn got killed in an accident while being pregnant and her child Cordelia 2 dissappeared.
In the book it also said Duke Valencia wanted to use Cordelia 2 but accidentally took Cordelia 1. When he found out, he wanted to kill her.
ABOVE IS ALL CONTENTS OF THE “BOOK OF THE FUTURE”.
After Cordelia 1 reads the book, she wanted to run away to avoid the story but accidentally bumped into an unconscious Duke Valencia injured and saved him.
Duke Valencia woke up and took her, even though she insisted she was not the real Cordelia. He adopted her and she accepted it since her life was shit at the orphanage she lived at before. He gave her a new name, Rosaria.
Rosaria makes friends with 2nd Prince Jullian who has a curse which makes him harm others. He starts liking her.
Prince Jullian: 2nd son of the king and a lady from House Valencia, but he lives in the Valencia household because of his curse
House of Orixa claims that Rosaria is their rightful daughter and gets the rights to take her eventhough she insists she isn’t the real Cordelia. Raul Orixa is aggressive towards Rosaria and pushes her off the stairs because he claims “she isn’t even the real Cordelia”.
Rosaria finds out that House Orixa was involved in her assassination attempt. This allowed Duke Valencia to take Rosaria back to his household.
Duke Valencia and Rosaria become fond of eachother and she now calls her “Dad”.
Rosalynn was Duke Valencia’s first love but she got a child with another man which left him hung up. However, he promised her to take care of her child AKA the real Cordelia. Even though Rosaria may not be Rosalynn’s daughter, he still loved her.
Blake Lampez is hated by his whole family and tries to make friends with Rosaria but she rejects him, because he only wanted to be friends with her because “she’s the real saint”. She told him not to give up in life anyway.
Edmund Petros protects Rosaria from bullying and they become friends, although he’s a sadist-masochist.
Rosaria gets sick of being accused of being the real saint, so she gets a test from the Priest who confirms “she is unlikely to be the saint, but she has a small amount of divine power”.
She uses that small divine power to heal others, starting the rumor that she is the real saint.
The King calls her to heal the 1st Prince. When she went to the palace to heal him, they suddenly got interrupted by the announcement “the Real Saint Cordelia just came!” AKA Cordelia 2
Cordelia 2 shows insane healing abilities which proves she was the real Saint. But out of desperation, Rosaria cried to the 2nd Prince and unknowingly healed his curse, then passed out infront of the king and priest.
“I thought there was only one Saint???”

When Rosaria passes out, she goes into this other realm where it is a “Library of Records of what happens in the past, present, future” and finds out Cordelia 2 tampered with the original story. And Rosaria was actually the REAL Cordelia, not Cordelia 2. Cordelia 2 was a failed EXPERIMENT by the Priests to make Saints, she’s not even human and she’s evil (woww ooo plot twist😱😱😱)
More plot twist, the reason why Cordelia 2’s appearance had such good timing was because Cordelia 2 was hidden by house Orixa this whole time. She insisted to Duke Orixa she had to appear “at the right time” to make him succeed the throne. House Orixa knew Cordelia 2 is the fake Cordelia,, and Rosaria is the real Cordelia.
Rosaria woke up. Everyone just accepted the fact there’s 2 saints apparently. But Cordelia 2 was introduced so late that everyone was already attached and siding with Rosaria [Cordelia 1]. Rosaria’s friends, the princes, nor Edmund wanted to be healed by Cordelia 2.
Another weird plot twist. Why was Raul Orixa so aggressive to Rosaria when he knew Cordelia 2 was fake?? Because he fell in love with Rosaria at first sight even though they are cousins by blood, which is disgusting. So to hide his filthy love, he channels his love to Cornelia 2 instead.
Cordelia 2 and the Priest work together to take down Rosaria but all attempts have failed. So they decided to just spread curses to 1st Prince, Duchess Petros, Duke Valencia. (What??? Why is she working with the Priest??)
Cordelia 2 heals the 1st Prince then threatens Rosaria to kill either 2nd Prince Jullian or her dad Duke Valencia, or Cordelia 2 would kill them both. Cordelia 2 gave Rosaria poison. She knew Rosaria can’t bear to kill another person.
Rosaria drank the poison herself and never woke up, stayed in a coma unlike what she planned. (She planned that her divine power would heal her on its own, she told this plan to her father before poisoning herself). Duke Valencia lends her to the Priest to wake her up out of desperation.
(The parts below were extremely rushed and not understandable by the readers past chapter 86 since they didn’t summarize anything, just did a timeskip)
[Flashback] Before Rosaria was born, the Priest fell in love with Saint Rosalynn. However, the Priest is immortal, and Saint Rosalynn is a human who’d die soon. He forced her to be impregnated by Christian Orixa via sexual assault so that he could use her daughter’s body to reincarnate Rosalynn after she dies. This whole time, Rosalynn also loved Duke Valencia dearly.
Back to the present.
The Priest took Rosaria’s body and tried implanting another soul into it by putting her in a tree to reincarnate Saint Rosalynn, who is his love. This plan fails and Rosaria wakes up normal and gets out of the tree after 5 years.
In those 5 years, Cordelia 2’s body breaks down because she’s not human. Blake Lampez and Edmund Petros are still alive. Prince Jullian killed the King and ascended the throne.
Everyone had assumed Rosaria was dead until she returns home.
She finally calls Blake her friend. She is close friends with Edmund. She starts dating King Jullian.
She gets married to King Jullian.
The end.😃 wow. Wasn’t that super rushed and anticlimactic?? I’m really sad the author didnn’t go through with this manhwa. I would’ve given it a lower rating if the plot and pacing got messed up any earlier. But before that, it was a fun read before the crap ending. We have officially lost the plot🙌🏻
