Spoiler
TL;DR: This story has MASSIVE plot holes, abandons its premise unceremoniously, doesn't solve the mystery it sets up, and the timeline doesn't make sense (Which is basically just the plot hole complaint again)

The author basically set up a big mystery, then kept playing off it to serve as an obstacle to our main cast. And it served that purpose wonderfully. But here's the problem: The author really likes movies. He likes to include real-life movies in the story, and that causes problems. Namely, that since the movies actually exist, you know roughly what period of time the characters are in, or talking about.

Which leads ...

In short, it's a good manga that I recommend to anyone who gets bored sometimes and wants to cheer themselves up, it's a very funny and lively series, and although this is only the beginning of this series, I can't wait for the next chapters.
The characters are interesting and well written, the story, although it looks average, is very interesting, which further emphasizes the writing skills of the creator. As for the graphics, I think that just like the story, it is very well done and the eyes absorb it.
In my opinion we need more lively and fresh manga with an unconventional plot and ...

I couldn't get invested in it. Frankly, the trope of "self-deprecating boy meets competent but innocent/awkward girl" is way too common, especially these days. I would say that the characters here are better than the usual incarnation of the trope. However, their personalities don't really add anything interesting to the story. This problem is further compounded by how most of the story is the characters just explaining a movie each day. Most of the time, the plot doesn't develop in any interesting way.

Compared to the average romance manga/anime, this is solid. Compared to what I would consider as the REALLY good romance manga/anime, this falls ...

Another great series about a main girl and main guy in a school club with few members, hanging out with their quirky senpai and friends, constantly finding themselves in awkward and/or hilarious circumstances.
If you've read/watch your Senryuu Shoujo, your Kono Bijutsubu ni wa Mondai ga Aru, or something adjacent (Seitokai Yakuindomo, Atsumare! Fushigi Kenkyuubu, GJ-bu, D-Frag, Hyouka... kind of, etc) then you'll know what to expect.

You get a simple premise but in this genre execution is everything, making the mundane funny will make or break these kind of series, and I'm happy to tell you that R15+ ja Dame desuka? delivers. The artstyle ...

filthy cinephile here, this'll be a great read especially if you're very invested in films(great read even if not)! although the main plot is about getting acquainted with more mature themes in cinema, the nature of the manga itself is much tamer. as the plot continues the characters do develop a bit further than just "i love cinema!" and though it isn't a masterpiece by any means there's a decent storyline with not too many frustrating conflicts (at least compared to many other manga titles!) and the film recommendations at the end of each chapter are great! there's a handful of manga dealing with cinema ...

Its very simple, I don't think it's a plot that would really allow for that many chapters. But basically, if you like movies or reading something simple, this manga is for you.

From the outside, it's clear that the author is a cinephile and really enjoys film. He often takes the opportunity to write short reviews of real movies (John Wick, City of God, Constantine, etc.) and integrate them into the plot naturally. The art is, in my opinion, very, very cute (my profile picture appears here).

My only complaint is how, starting in chapter 20, the thread that was initially proposed starts to get lost, but ...
