Not being able to take more than 400 steps in a day without coughing up blood while having to fulfill a contract with the demon king is our MC’s everyday kind of struggle.

This manhwa has the tropes of a contract marriage and an obsessive ML (according to sources, the ML is significantly more obsessive in the novel). This means that the relationship isn’t perfect & has toxicity in it, but because it doesn’t go against the FL’s explicit wishes, it’s kind of left alone. He is the “I will destroy the world to save you” kind

of ML. This didn’t bother me & I enjoyed the main couple. I will say that this doesn’t really come out until later in the manhwa. They also have good physical intimacy if that is something you like in your ship. (Doesn’t hurt he has to carry her around ever because she can’t walk.)
There is some revenge for the villainess, and they do get their revenge fully paid. And believe it or not, there is a happy ending with cute babies. This is not a tragedy.
I thought this manhwa was great. I don’t think it is overly spectacular or a must read, but if you like fantasy romance, I would give this one a try. Or if you like sunfishes or where the MC doesn’t take the demon king seriously and instead curses them out all the time. Then this is the one for you.
