Stories that are melancholic and sad, but have a hopeful outlook at the same time
This is my favourite tone of story, so any recommendations to add in are very much welcome!

Manga featuring children with a seemingly innocent or light-hearted premise/start that isn't what it seems.

Manga with less than 6 volumes. Not based on a certain genre, contains anthologies.

Finished manga with less than 50 chapters.
To be specific, these manga have less thank fifty but more than ten chapters. For manga with 50–100 check out my under one-hundred stack! I also have one for under 10 chapters!
The only other criteria is that I didn’t include any manga I didn’t enjoy!

Stuff that made me feel weird

-Manga that breaks people.
-Manga that will make you feel empty rather than making you cry.

Solid manga, my personal favorites

manga that are abstract and/or weird in terms of story and/or art. reminiscent of urban graffiti and scrawls of notebook sketches and diaries. list is merely just shower thoughts, there are lists better than this with more variety. for the dead minded.

These series are known for their deceptive usage of cute covers, characters, and designs.
