As a fan of the Detective Conan series, I was eager to see what else Gosho had in store, so I picked up this short story collection the moment I saw it.

Story: 7
The chapters are mostly individual stories, so each chapter has an individual plot. The stories aren't really special or amazing by themselves and they're not supposed to be - rather than the plots, it's the wackiness of the ideas and the humour that make these short stories great. For example, the first three chapters are about a private detective who goes by the name of George Kirishima - and he's around 10cm ... "tall". With a height like that, peeking under dresses and skirts becomes easy...

Art: 7
If you know Detective Conan and Magic Kaito, you will immediately recognise the art. Gosho has a very distinct art style that's easily recognisable and nice to look at - characters end up looking very similar to each other though.

Characters: 9
All of the characters are fun. They're not exactly the most unique characters ever brought to paper, but they work very well for the short stories they were created for. No character development, but these are short stories so that should not come as a surprise.

Enjoyment: 10
I smiled throughout the whole thing. All the stories are really nice to read, fun, and cute. The wacky characters really shine in their respective chapters and the whole thing is worthwhile.

Overall: 8
If you're a fan of Gosho's other work, give this a read. It's not too long and it's very enjoyable.
