I don't normally write reviews, just because they take long if you want to be productive about what you say. It takes a real masterpiece to make me write a review. This is possibly the best horror manga that I've seen for a while. The art is absolutely stunning, to the point where I've got an entire folder dedicated to the astonishing, picturesque landscapes and much more. Diving a bit deeper into the manga, you will also see that the story is incredibly complex, even going as far as to just not make sense until you've read it like 3 times. The characters are also ...

Sakamoto Shinichi has truly blessed us with another timepiece masterpiece!!!

I have never read/seen the story of Dracula, so I can't say how good of an adaption/reimagined story this is. So far i'm digging the plot, it's one of those stories that makes more sense the more you read. It sort of just throws you into the story, the introduction is very brief, the action starts right away.

This goes without saying but the art is incredible. The amount of details, shading, and time spent on each panel just blows my mind. I purposely read this manga as slow as possible to visually take in all ...

I'm a huge fan of the original novel and have never found an adaptation that I thought lived up to Bram Stoker's wonderful work. As such I was really skeptical when a friend recommended this, but now I absolutely adore it!! I love how Sakamoto added LGBT and disabled representation as well as adding some people of colour and making Mina more of a feminist without taking away from the original story. Sp far he's managed to keep a lot of small details as well as larger plot points of the original novel while still making it his own work. I'm so excited to see ...

#DRCL Midnight Children is absolutely insane. If you thought Innocent could get pretty out-there at moments, imagine what the same guy could do with a supernatural horror story. It might be the translation (self-professed to be low-quality) or the way it's paced, but absolutely everything comes out of left field. There is little exposition, and absurd sights are shown without buildup, leaving the entire story so far soaked in whiplash. The art is absurdly good, even with the lost detail of magazine scans, helped by the freedom of cosmic horror, and the low-page-count monthly release schedule. It's very short at the moment, and looks to ...
