Soul Eater (Anime) add
As its own anime, it's honestly absolutely fantastic. Really unique and gorgeous art style that has a look and vibe you don't find in other series. Character designs are all super cool, from major characters like Lord Death and the main 7 to minor and side characters like Justin and Blair. The ending wasn't perfect but was pretty damn great. The main 7 developed really well and their bonds to one another grew really deep. Despite Maka and Soul being the main characters, Black Star, Tsubaki, Kid, Liz, and Patty all have a lot of screentime and great moments, too. There was great character theme ...

Such a criminally underrated manga. Each of the four main princes, as well as their relationships to Heine, to one another, and to others around them is developed perfectly. They're adorable and loveable from the very beginning but get even better and become fit for the throne as time goes on. The art is really beautiful, it looks amazing whether the scene is detailed and beautiful or simple and cute or funny and exaggerated. There's a perfect mix of the main plot and cute little side stories that are between one and a couple chapters long. The official art is beautiful, too. The covers and ...

There's only a dozen or so chapters out right now but this manga has still grabbed my attention and won't let go. The art is unique and fantastic and I'm a sucker for the classic historical England x blood/gore combo. Also, the three main characters are all super intriguing characters, and it's even more interesting because they're young children. The main character, Rwanda, doesn't really have a motivation at this point besides killing, whereas a lot of main characters DO have a main motive to drive the plot by this point, so that's why I give the story an 8 and all other aspects a ...

Makai Ouji is absolutely incredible and is one of my favourite manga of all time. This series means everything to me. Gorgeous art and great characters. The ending has me in tears everytime I read it. Highly recommend it to anyone who wants a manga with great art, BL themes that aren't gross/fetishization, awesome worldbuilding, lovely character designs, or all of the above. Though if you want a series with a large and active fandom, you're unfortunately out of luck. In my opinion it's still worth it, though. If you're here from the anime then please read the manga from the beginning, the anime does ...

I'm a huge fan of the original novel and have never found an adaptation that I thought lived up to Bram Stoker's wonderful work. As such I was really skeptical when a friend recommended this, but now I absolutely adore it!! I love how Sakamoto added LGBT and disabled representation as well as adding some people of colour and making Mina more of a feminist without taking away from the original story. Sp far he's managed to keep a lot of small details as well as larger plot points of the original novel while still making it his own work. I'm so excited to see ...
