Note- I read this on a boring bus ride, I didn't have anything to do so looked for manga to read and this piqued my interest. Editing this in August because this series got axed

Update - As of August 2021, this series got axed? whatever the reason is the manga got abruptly ended.

Anyway, this series is something else. The whole MC can't find power trope reminds me a lot of Chivalry of a failed knight, however I wasn't prepared for what this series had in store.

Let's start with the biggest one Ecchi, this series isn't afraid to show all those glorious boob,ass, groping and whatnot. ... There's a lot of it in this series, it's understandable why there's a lot since the mc's power turns people into horny bastards (it's very similar to Parallel Paradise but it affects everyone at the same time the Ecchi is part of the story itself) but here's the thing though

I like the Ecchi, The art on it is great, the boob and ass shots you get they are nice. Granted they can be annoying at times but for the most part, I don't have a problem with it. Also No nipples are drawn despite the full boob shots (sacrifices have to be made I guess)

Now for the characters, they're tropey, you can't really do anything about that. The MC is a bit of an idiot but he isn't too annoying, the same can be said for the other character in this series so far.

Story wise, it's a mess, its chaos which is fitting for the MC's main power but man is it tough to register what is going on with some of the chapters. But I get the gist of it, I missed out on a few details here and there since I read this on a bus ride but I was still able to follow through with the plot so far, this isn't like other series where the story gets stagnant over and over again. Even if some of the chapters are just blatant fan service we stil get a small drizzle of plot in them.

Art as i stated earlier is great, the characters are cute, body proportions aren't too unrealistic. You can differentiate who's who from the main character roster. I love how the faces are drawn even the derpy reaction faces still retain the moe look.

I personally enjoyed reading the series so far, it's a great shut of your mind and just go with the flow kind of series.

Man what could have been, the MC was annoying at first but the recent chapters have gotten better, it really is a shame that this got axed. Right when it was starting to get better but hey that's the manga industry for ya

Wow! I just finished reading this book until chapter 26 updated. Surprisingly, it is the same creator/author who writes Will it be the World or Her? I love those characters like Kaito, Mai, Yui, Kiara, Moeka, and Ayane. Adorable and amazing characters. I like when Kaito is not giving up, and he has a big dream that wants to become a Phoenix-tier wielder and a member of Seven Sages. Also, I am inquisitive and want to know more about
"The Great Sage Heiland..."
"The Strongest Magic Wielder in All of History, huh..."

That sounds very cool, and I could not see his face in chapter 2 when ... Kaito meets The Seven Sages. I like to see more about Heiland, like a back story like what happened to Heiland now? Is Heiland alive or passed away? Disappear? Where is Heiland now?

When Kaito talks about what he wants to become, he says, "I'M GONNA BECOME ONE OF THE SEVEN SAGES! THAT'S WHO I'M GONNA BECOME!" That is a good goal, but I think it would be amazing that Kaito can become the next Great Sage like Heiland. Would it be amazing if Kaito gets to meets Heiland?! It would be a miracle and gives a lot of hope that Kaito can train with Heiland like most potent magic, power, and spells; even Kaito does need to keep training with charm ability and peer vision that see-through anything like seeing someone naked (LOL). But, again, it would be a miracle that Kaito can get to train with Heiland.

Fun Facts about me: I like when there is a book or a movie to see the main character gets to train with a champion, retired soldier, or strongest hero in the world, which me happy to see the main character train to get stronger because of their dream.


As for the characters:

Kaito: I know that he is the main character of this manga. I would say that he is pretty stupid from the beginning; what kind of answer was that?! "How else am I gonna get popular with the girls?" Very stupid and things got worse like charm ability that causes too much trouble and lots of hate. I feel bad for him, but it seems that he is not giving up; he will keep working on his ability. He needs to work on the feeling for girls who are wrapping around him like Mai, Yui, Moeka, and Ayane. I do not know about Kiara, but she still friends like Kaito. Maybe in some chapters in the future that Kiara might have feelings for Kaito. Ooh, that would be interesting. I hope he finally found his magic like fire, water, wind, or lighting in some chapters in the future. I know, and I did say twice that if Kaito meets Heiland, it would be a miracle and gives a lot of hope that Kaito can get to train with Heiland.

Mai: She looks beautiful at the beginning and calls herself Ice Queen, which; she has the magic of ice and can not believe that she is a Phoenix-tier wielder and a member of Seven Sages. She must train harder than Kaito (LOL, Rip Kaito). I am happy to see Mai and Kaito spend time together like that were talking on the island. It was like an old time when they were little. I am surprised that when they talked about the trial and she was protecting Kaito and doing it for the sake and dream. In chapter 25, Mai looked upset and jealous, seeing Kaito and Yui together, making her feel lonely and jealous. I know that Mai does have feelings of love for Kaito. If Mai confesses to Kaito, I wonder what is going to happen if Yui finds out? I bet Yui will upset and become scary just like she is trying to kill Ayane with a kitchen knife.

Yui: Another beautiful girl, for the first time I thought she would be younger than Kaito, but she is older than him, which explains about "Yui-nee" and Kaito thinking of her as big sister and family. She is a lovely girl and does have a strong feeling for Kaito. I can't believe she wants to marry him so badly, lol. Sometimes, Yui needs to chill and let Kaito continue to get powerful by training on his ability. Yui and Kaito look cute together. 🥰 I know that Kaito is in love with Mai. It may hurt Yui's feelings and jealousy. I think it would be better for Kaito to date Mai and Yui.

Kiara: another cutest girlfriend. She is kind of cool with fire and wind magic, but it is kind suck that she lost the duel against Kaito. She needs to train harder so that she won't lose next time and be more honest like she just told Kaito and others why Kiara likes Mai to become famous and become a Phoenix-tier wielder. Again, she looks cute and reminds me that she looks like the character from Will it be the World or Her? I think it was Ayumi Fujisaki from Will it be the World or Her? So, I just read that she was crying because she kept losing like duel and trial, then she lost to that creepy girl with that big teddy bear. I hope Kaito will go after her and get her back, like talk to her or try to help her before they get late to class. Even it's a chance for her to be friends with Mai. I bet Kiara will be shocked if she finds out Kaito and Mai are childhood friends.

Moeka: man... She does look very hot and sexy as hell, but she is very shameless and pervert. She needs to take control of herself and stop being a pervert. Also, there is one thing that I do not know about her is that is she a teacher or a student, or student-teacher? Too bad for Mai that Moeka took Kaito away from Mai, she was about to say that she wants to help Kaito, and they were childhood friends. Even Moeka made a plan for Kaito and Mai to talk to each other and find their relationship. I believe that it is suitable for Kaito to train with Moeka to master the charm ability. It is hot to see Moeka teasing or touch Kaito like it could be like they are going to kiss and go all the way. 😂

Ayane: she looks most adorable girl in the world. I can see why she was popular with boys when she was little, then sadly that Ayane has the same problem as Kaito that she was being bullied and lots of hate because of her ability Captivate like Moeka. Another character that looks the same from Will it be the World or Her? She looks like Hikari Jindou in Will it be the World or Her? I thought Kaito's first kiss would be Mai or Yui. Unfortunately, that was an accident, but she started to have feelings for Kaito like she heard that Kaito and Yui have kissed and makes her chest tight and feeling like butterflies in her stomach. She does in love with Kaito. Look like Mai and Yui have another rival fighting over Kaito.

I would recommend everyone read this manga because it is like To Love Ru and High School DXD. Also, I would like to say that this manga deserves an anime series. I hope they will make animation series in the future no matter what, how long, and when.

I think this manga has the potential to give a good storyline, but it's been 2 years no update.

Art: The art is really good and the character design is awesome so full marks for the art.

Character: As of now there are 32 chapters and they have introduced a lot of characters so I think it will require a lot of chapters to describe them and their backstory.

Story: So the story I kinda feel is mediocre till now but it has the potential to give something great. I think they should describe the world and environment more which can give a clear imagination to the story.

So, ... if ur looking for a heram manga go for it but it will keep you hanging as the story is kinda slow and not well written.

Overall I'll give it 6/10

This manga has good premise: seemingly useless power that turns out to have useful applications, and it's a real shame that it's bogged down by ecchi because the action parts are surprisingly pleasant to read.

Story:
Story is pretty generic "turns out this useless guy is a genius after all" harem storyline so not much can be expected. The pacing is all over the place and the story suffers a lot from it, especially because by rule of cool the enemies have to be stronger than the previous and beating them too quickly will cause power creep to go out of control, exactly what happened here.

Art:
Art ... is actually pretty nice and enjoyable, the spells are well detailed. Not much more can be said about it

Character:
As far as characters go, the protagonist is a pretty basic "I didn't mean it, honest!" a harem protagonist usually is, the girls are also very predictable and all relationships get speedrun, but surprisingly normally act more like a colleague would and strike a nice balance between "capable" and "not OP". Unfortunately that's not enough to put this above the pack, the fact that the manga gets canceled pretty early on means there's not enough time to get a proper background on them, not that it'd help make them less than a trope

Enjoyment:
Surprisingly enjoyable, especially during action sequences. It helps that the main character isn't actually totally worthless, only his magic is.

Overall:
The manga is actually pretty interesting but either due to cancellation or due to writing issues the pacing is all over the place and there's not enough time to appreciate the current adversary. It feels like they timeskip multiple times despite that not canonically happening, and the ecchi sequences are a bit too forced
