Manga: Riki-Oh
These stories share the same author and includes a recurring religious theme, violent heroes and a prison setting. In my opinion, Dokuro's story isn't as impressive as Riki-Oh but it's still worth a read.

Muscular protagonist with great fighting abilities, those series are constant action and carnage, including a fight with prisoners.

Similar main character from design to personality - avenger, similar storyline: main overpowered character in slightly futuristic dystopian world must defeat certain organisation with wth vilain on the top to take revenge and save people.

Manga: Oyasumi Punpun
Both of these deal with new religion cults that corrupt and brainwash their believers. Dokuro offers a more... physical solution.
