tldr, read it, it's good
Criminally underrated, the excitement this manga provides is soooo much higher than the average stuff coming out recently. It makes me want to cry that this isn't going to be a long running series, I would happily pay for even just another volume. The thing that really makes this manga stand out is the characters unlikeable, likeable, they're all incredibly interesting. I'm a sucker for any manga that focuses on the villain more than the hero, but the more neutral already lost demon lord in this one brings so much to the story. If you are looking at this review I just want to say this is not a complete story. I don't know the specifics but it was axed at chapter 18. The story ends before it can actually solidify itself. However the setup for the main story are still worth reading. So if you can bear reading an unfinished piece of work it's worth a shot. The best chapter is 10 so I recommend at least read to that chapter, as its pretty unique and a decent twist.

The tension it builds up to chapter 10 is really fricking good, and seeing chapter 10 was so relieving, sad and just puts a smile to my face whenever I reread it, the character of eirth or earth in the light novel is just fantastic, seeing him improve and work hard to achieve the approval of the masses is so inspiring. ...

Honestly This manga has so much potential its killing me. The way it builds up so perfectly to chapter 10, and then executing a reveal in such an unpredictable and astounding manner left me itching for more.
Its still early to call anything but I truly think this could be a gem of a series with the way its going. I don't have too much to talk about as again it is very early, but I highly recommend picking this one up simply because of that chapter 10 grand slam. This manga hits the feels so deep. It's really well-paced and I love it so far! it has a great balance of funny and serious and the story is very well developed. The main character is very relatable and his situation hits me deep and makes me want to cry in pain for him. His development as a character is very well strung out and I love this manga wholeheartedly.

It is good, love it. It was refreshing to see something new imo. Characters arent distinct except the demon lord he/she is not evil or cunning (yet), and it is refreshing because you dont expect he/she being good toward their killer's son. I enjoyed it. BTW how much is the word limit. I have to keep writting for no reason. yeah. By the way ive heard some bad reviews from LN readers. Though I cant confirm it. Yeah. Forbidden Master is a surprisingly charming fantasy story that was a lot better than I initially expected.
I will try to keep this spoiler free but the synoposis is that the our main character is the son of the former hero who wasn't able to live up to the expectations of being the fathers son, but through being able to converse with the former demon lord will be able to get stronger than anyone could ever imagine. Feels quite generic doesn't it, and yeah it is, but the story succeds in making it's characters likable to a fault as there no antagonists in the 18 chapers that ...

Oha- to my own surprise, I have now read through a manga for the first time. Although that was not really difficult, where he has only 19 chapters ...
Before I say much here, you must know that the manga is finished. Not because the story is finished - I rather have the impression that just the introduction is through - but simply because it was not continued after this introduction. Admittedly, there is still a finale that concludes a story - but it initiates a much larger story at the same time and accordingly it's just an open ending. I don't like that. Even though the ...

It's another Isekai-lite. Like sure the main character isn't from another world, but he has the complete lack of personality you would expect from an isekai protag. Honestly, for the first 10ish chapters this story felt like it had some connective tissue and plot, but then that was thrown out of the window with a rather idiotic decision from our MC.
