The story is extremely... meh. Sometimes the pacing feels off, but the general Scenario is like this:

Humans can become monsters if they have overwhelming negative Feelings or desires - but don't worry, an organisation with battle-Highschool girls fights them. To the death.

Our protagonist is a huge pervert, who has the power to stop those Slasher Maidens with his perv powers. (Because they can lose controll over their Mementos - stuff that the Kaijin leave behind and give ... them superpowers - and our Perv does Ecchi stuff to them and they get back to normal.)


Naturally every single character in the Manga is an absoulte Psychopath. But it doesn't really matter, it's all about the gore.


Since there are only 9 chapters out so far, it's not predictable where the story will go exactly. At the moment there is an antagonistic doomsday cult who actually wants the Kaijin to exist and they cause trouble for the Slasher Maidens.


I stil had a good time with this, whoever thought about combining wholesome Ecchi with absolutely gruesome Horror deserves an award. I usually detest Gore, but this seems so surreal, that I can't help but find it funny.

Overall I rate this 6/10.

personal opinion:
Reviewing this is kinda hard, I only finished the first volume by now but I really enjoyed it. The plot can be weird and perverted, and you can feel how it's inspired by other manga/anime, but somehow I find it really enjoyable to read.

story:
The main character is a perv, but he starts liking this girl and wants to change. With the main character being a perv you can probably imagine its extremely ecchi. Also there is a lot of gore.

art:
I personally love the art style, all the characters have nice designs and the Kaijins (the monsters they are fighting) are drawn with details ... which makes them creepier (in a good way).

character:
The characters aren't written in a very original way, but honestly even tho I thought I'll hate the protagonist for being a perv, I actually found it funny how pathetic he can act at times, and seeing him wanting to change is also pretty nice. I can definitely see character development already.

enjoyment:
It is enjoyable to read from my point of view. It has action, the main character can be funny, the main girl is definitely waifu, it has plenty of pretty girls, a lot of ecchi but even tho personally I'm not a fan of ecchi it was easy to just ignore.

overall:
There are definitely better things to read but I would recommend to give Kaijin Reijou a try!

Further down the review I'm going to give my own review of the series so far, but from the few volumes that have been published I have gathered the following:

1. The Art

The art style itself is quite good, and very enjoyable to look at. Can be quite gory at times, so be wary of that. Besides that, the art efficiently tells the story quite well. Along with this the Kaijins (Monsters in the story) are drawn quite well, they have a lot of originality to them and are quite well made to be these horror/scary monsters that they are shown as.

2. The Story

The story ... that is brought forth is quite interesting, Kaijins are roaming the world due to circumstances and therefore there is a dispatcher-like squad sent out to eliminate the threat. The main character is a bit interesting (not always good) but nevertheless brings a lot of interesting things to the story.



My own opinion:

I've just finished the fourth volume and I'm quite immersed in the story as it's currently developing. Yes, there may be some oddities but besides that, the art style is fantastic, and the characters are likable (the protagonist is a little interesting, to say the least, but it's okay). All around it's quite good and of course, I'm excited to see how the following volumes/chapters intend to progress the story. So far it's very good and quite enjoyable in my opinion. It might be a little much for some people, and maybe a little over-the-top gory at some points, but besides that, it has a lot of interesting plot and some interesting twists that are presented within the story itself.

Enjoyment value:

I have found myself enjoying this series so far and I'm quite excited to see where the following volumes/chapters take the story. There are things that I have previously not been a big fan of but have enjoyed within the boundaries of this series.
