finally, a villainess manga where not only is she actually villainous, but there is an interesting discussion of idealism vs realism. author is way more knowledgable about the political economy than the average author and it serves the story so well. character designs are pretty solid as well. our two female leads are great and fun to see battle, side characters are interesting too. i will not drop spoilers but the author is a master of foreshadowing. worldbuilding is a bit weak, it focuses more on philosophical discussion of problems than actual things happening.
best manga ive read in a while tbh.

I like Rekishi because of how Alicia even though not unique, still kind of different from most of the protagonist in these trope, the balance between her capable self and her adorable moment is one of the best. But I was disappointed by the way the story lead the reader toward something and completely abandon it in next chapter. Don't get me wrong on this, it is completely reasonable for the author to did ... Oct 10, 2022
Another villainess hell, this time, the villainess actually does work and make herself look like a villain. Not the usual, Female lead is actually dumb villainess and looked more like a hero than a villainess. The FL is smart and actually makes sense on throwaway debates. The FL is very much an active protagonist that actually strives to do what she could, there's some coincidences to make the story more worthwhile but more grounded of a story with very driven lead. some male target capture is actually flimsy incomparison to her lol.
The art is great, the story touches on more darker topic and does hold ... |
