This manga has a lot of potential, first off the setting is amazing, but the story feels like it can evolve into something amazing, i might become a masterpiece that is as good as some of the big mangas but currently the story feels kinda meh, ill update this when i feel like its gotten better/worse. currently the characters feels very bland, like "ive seen this stuff a lot of times" the big black haired guy looks interesting, currently the story feels quite unique, i hope it goes on for another 600 chapters or so, i believe it has enough potential for that.

This mange is a bit of a brutal and relentless read, and most of the characters are dumb (for good reason, as they are young), which makes them a bit less likeable. What saves this manga is that characters making dumb decisions has actual consequences, which makes the fantasy world feel a lot more real. The themes of saving or destroying a soul are obviously deeply spiritual in nature, and gives a slight twist to the interaction with the nature of death, both for the dead and for the living. I'll try to update once I make more progress.

The art is passable, generally skilled so ... as not to distract from the story and the definition of the different characters.
