Synopsis

Despite being at the top of her middle school class in both grades and athletics, Ayaka Sakurai finds herself stuck with her backup choice for high school due to her tendency to falter under pressure. Recognizing Ayaka's struggles, Michiko Egawa, her homeroom teacher, surprises her with an exchange of favors: if Ayaka can get Sora Honda, her classmate, to stop skipping class, Egawa will write a letter of recommendation to any school Ayaka wants.

After her first meeting with Sora, Ayaka reports back to Egawa, but Sora overhears their conversation. With Ayaka's ulterior motive out in the open, Sora agrees to cooperate in coming to school as long as Ayaka obeys one of her requests every day. To seal the deal, Sora first demands a kiss!

This is a charming manga that doesn't have a complex story, or uniquely written characters - it's kinda like junk food actually. It'll make you feel warm inside, but it probably doesn't have enough nutrition to be a full course meal.

The story is straight forward. Nothing shocking happens, it's very much 100% centered on romance. No music sub plot in this one (sadness). There isn't any oposition, or a true antagonist, or anything that truly challenges the characters in any meaningful maner. It's really just a cute Yuri romance story.

lonely girl isn't anything special really. it's story is simple, the art is cute, and overall it's just really adorable. If you are looking for something a bit more mature, maybe pass on lonley girl. But if you like cute yuri fluff then read this for sure. lonely Girl doesn't need to have the most interesting story and in depth character arcs. It's straight up tooth rotting and im ok with that! Lonely Girl in Sakaraenai is a simple yuri manga with nothing really exciting. The premise is alright, I kinda like the way it was going and then we went on with the typical romance tropes. Honestly, I don’t necessarily feel disappointed, It’s just an okay-ish manga.

I will give the mangaka some props though. He (or she) didn’t drag it for long, didn’t milked it for no reason. They were strangers, then friends, then lovers and happy ending.
The drawing is quite good, the surroundings are well drawn, I like it.
