The sequel to “Spectral Wizard”, it maintains the same melancholic but optimistic atmosphere.
The theme isn't stated here but I believe it follows on from the message stated in the last few pages of the prequel, that everything changes and so must we. The manga focuses primarily on how the characters have changed from the past and how they continue to change as people. The manga also goes out of it's way to show that things are different now than the past.
I think the most clear aspect of this is that the backstory of the world or the characters is never focused on in depth despite

the plot being driven by history (and being quite interesting). The reader is only given as much as is necessary to understand the plot. Indeed, the antagonist is someone who has clung to the past while the protagonists are those who have changed.
Unlike it's prequel, this manga has an overarching plot. The characters have more development and there is more focus on the relationships between characters. I must say, it was unexpectedly emotionally poignant. I really did not think that two short manga could make me feel the way it did at the end.
The art is the same quality as previously, so no complaints here. Though, there is simply more to depict here considering the plot so it was more impressive.
I think this manga is a straight improvement of the prequal, “Spectral Wizard”, and I recommend it to everyone, it is essentially a straight continuation of it's prequel but with more structure and a slightly different theme. At the least, they're both very short manga so it's not a huge investment, and it may surprise you.
