A short manga about loneliness. We follow Spectra a wizard who has lost everything but really only wants human connection.

The manga is clear that it's about loneliness but the other aspects are open to interpretation. I think it covers the how different people try to cope with loneliness. One tries to fill the void with objects, one tries to stave off loneliness by retreating it themselves with out care for anyone else, one tries to dedicate themselves to a purpose. All of them are bound to a long gone past however and ultimately the lesson is that the world changes regardless of what we want ... and we need to move on too.

The five chapters in this manga are loosely connected together but share the theme of loneliness and all have the same melancholic but optimistic feeling that pervades the manga. The atmosphere is really the selling point of the manga. There is some world building that's interesting but nothing really in-depth

The art looks like something from a cartoon but it has it's charm.

I recommend this, it's a pretty unique manga.
