I stuck with this for 50 chapters hoping there'd be some redemption or character growth, but at this point I don't think I can do it anymore. I read it on recommendation of a friend, but to be honest, the characters are too dull. I have a hard time liking Hye-sung. It's like he's supposed to be tsundere, but I felt like he takes it too far. Maybe it's an issue with the tone of the translation I read. The way he wants to take advantage of people makes me dislike him. Dojin is pretty bland, but he has plenty of red flags himself.

Do I still like it? Also yes Love is an Illusion is an Omegaverse. I cannot say this is for you if you are unfamiliar with this topic. 100% of the plot is driven by the fact that this is an omegaverse and if omegaverse gives you the ick then don't read it BUT if you are willing to try then go for itt. This manhwa is really funny and the family aspect is really cute. All the characters are problematic but I think that's what makes it a fun read. One of the worst most comics I've read, I wasn't gonna write a review but this is so bad it's keeping me up at night.
Every main character is a bad person that does terrible things, so much so that you cannot route for any of them. It's a romance where you hate the mains with a passion and at every turn hope they just break up and you get new main characters. The only reason to read and keep reading is hate-reading, but I don't recommend that either as that really messes with your head and mental health (me right now). I had to drop this series mostly because I just can't stand how toxic the relationship is. It's basically a relationship between someone who is constantly verbally abusive and takes advantage of their partner, never being honest with themselves and taking every opportunity to get out of apologizing and someone who is overly forgiving.
