The story itself a bit boring, it lacks emotion, it doesn't really make you feel like you are in there or like you care for either of the characters. There was a moment where the MC shares that they wish they were a woman so his one sided love could have a chance which yes that did make me feel sad as well as care for the character but that moment lasted short.
The first chapter feels more like a diary of a character who is sharing their one sided emotions and doesn't show much of his connection/interaction with the ML. Then out of no

where the ML says he was kidding about having a girlfriend and that he knew all along about his feelings then asks him out then right away plays it off but then the chapter ends as if they started being a couple talked about the MC's feelings.
Then in chapter 2 its back to square one and this time it's the ML sharing his side of the story which makes you not like the character because he knew all along and basically played with the MC's feelings by lying about having a girlfriend and acting like he didn't notice his feelings yet doing things to get a reaction out of the MC. Then he starts acting jealous and talking about a flashback which itself is confusing since the way it was shared doesn't really make it clear that the flashback ended and keeps sharing how he is worried about a mutual friend hanging out a lot with the MC.
Again not showing much of their relationship, connection or them even interacting much. It leaves you just feeling like you are hearing a person talk about what's on their mind instead of an actual story sharing two people falling for each other and their relationship.
Over all it just feels like bad story telling.
