A beautiful adventure one shot that can make your memory good, cause it gonna make you remember and pick it up even after several long time.
Story? Nu-uh, pick it up and you will know. Best, but I think it's best to keep it short like this, as a one shot.
For the art itself, the author really know how draw atmosphere so the reader can really feel the adventure that the heroine have been. It's beautiful, nothing more.
Enjoyment? Slow pace but leaves you good at the end.
Overall? Pick it up. It's really good. It's one of the best one shot I have ever read.

Even if you don't have a lot of time on your hands, a oneshot is something that can be read fairly quickly, so if you're having doubts on whether to read this or not it really won't take out much of your day so I strongly recommend at least trying it.
Story: 10/10 Generally with one shots they aren't able to get a solid story with well rounded characters and information out in a very short time frame, however, this manga manages. We quickly understand the situation the world is facing, and the struggles the heroes are experiencing. The story dives into ways that are unexpected and ... Sep 15, 2020
Wow, Honestly its hard for me to write a review without spoiling anything.
But to give some pointers. Art is great, it fits perfectly into the story which is also great. You feel everything that goes on in it, its just so spectacular. I enjoy how it threw me around like a rag doll, i enjoyed the beautiful way of storytelling the parts of stories that are unheard. I love how it keeps going and going in making me love the characters and the environment which such simple gestures. i love how it kept me engaged not only because its short but because every moment felt real. They ... Sep 13, 2021
Omgosh I want to cry , Ngl I didn't expect that at all ... a oneshot that gonna give u this wtf moment is really rare to find , I won't explain the story because you can read the synopsis otherwise I would really suggest this to anyone , I felt so bad for the FMC , beside that the are was really dope , I won't talk much because I'll spoile but trust it worth ur time , just be sure it's not those typical heroes and shounen stories and that's the good thing about it
it just sad tbh i eally want to ... Jul 9, 2022
Scrolling through the best rated one-shot list I stumbled across this one, so I decided to give it a try. I'll try to keep it brief.
First off, the setting is annoyingly cliché. To be honest, some tweaks in the terminology would do the work some good, but that's just my opinion. The story has a nice progression and without getting into spoilers, there's a twist that makes this one-shot worthwhile. The art is great, that I have to recognise. I'm no expert but I saw quite a lot of detail on facial expressions and on landscapes. The most remarkable aspect of the one-shot, I have to ... Dec 16, 2022
This was a fun read. I liked the overall concept, and the artwork is very strong. There's even a full-colour page, and it's beautifully illustrated. The character dynamics feel fun, and you get a good enough sense of their personalities considering how short the manga is. The main character reflects on a very emotional journey and even a bit of philosophical exploration.
It's hard to say why it's so good without spoiling it, so I'll just say that the plot is probably the strongest point. The only downside I can think of is the transitions in the timeline. The story's structure goes: start of the journey back ... Feb 3, 2022
One shots are typically very short. Condensed plot without destroying the flow of the story and gives some background on the characters. This story does it so well to the point you could remember the details after reading it only once. See the title somewhere, you remember every detail. Even the art is fantastic with all them contrasts.
At the beginning, it may be a bit confusing as how the story telling goes but a few chapters in, you would realise what's happening. Reading it somehow makes you feel nostalgic. it gives a different vibe and sense to the word 'home'. Nov 21, 2022
A wonderful one-shot of the climax of a hero's party and their final journey back home.
The art is beautifully done and is capable of depicting the emotions of the characters throughout the entire short story. On a second reading, you'll understand especially what I mean by this Nina's experience of bringing her comrades back home while shouldering all the hardship along the way makes this an endearing one. I don't mind the short story due to how well done and neatly it ends. I do believe that given the situation and the theme of this world that all the motions and thoughts were very logical and ... Frankly, this is bad.
Ryouji Hirano's art is better than it was in Bozebeats but still really weak and messy on almost every page (with just a few exceptions). The story blatantly gives away the twist on page 2 and then proceeds to pretend that we don't know until the "reveal" near the end. It's not all bad, as there is a decent amount of character writing and the rest of the pacing is theoretically solid - however, between the extremely jarring mismatch between the information the reader has versus the information Hirano wanted the reader to have, and the painful-to-read art, those positives are strangled ... |
