Mixed Feelings

Jawbreaker is competently executed with a hooky premise. But Glasses has to be one of the most innately detestable MCs I've seen in a yaoi manga. While his disillusionment and sexual hangups are understandable, his degree of callousness and lack of introspection (despite apparent intelligence), is astounding. He admits to the other MC that the only reason he was ever friends with him is because he wanted to stay close to his dad?? I'm sorry what?? Personally the level of distrust and displeasure I would feel at this revelation would be unparalleled. I suppose their sexual relation was just beginning to fly at this point, ...
